Zach Bryan Faces Massive Backlash for Anti-ICE Song
Country fans revolt after singer attacks immigration agents risking their lives while the border crisis spirals out of control.

Country music singer Zach Bryan is under fire after releasing a new song titled “Bad News,” which takes direct aim at Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) the federal agency tasked with upholding U.S. immigration law during the worst border crisis in American history.
The lyrics, which appear to glorify resistance to law enforcement, include. “ICE is gonna come, bust down your door / Try to build a house no one builds no more… I’ve got some bad news / The fading of the red, white and blue.”
The backlash was swift, sharp, and absolutely deserved.
Country legend John Rich tore into Bryan on X, mocking him as the next Dixie Chicks another group that learned the hard way what happens when you spit in the face of your own country. “Who’s ready for the Zach Bryan-Dixie Chicks tour? Prob a huge Bud Light sponsorship for this one,” Rich joked.
He followed up: “Nashville is full of guys like this… cocky motherf**** ain’t they.”**
Conservative commentator Benny Johnson pointed out the staggering irony. “We were just invaded by over 10 million illegal aliens, and who does Zach Bryan cheer for? The illegals.” “He just drew over 112,000 fans to what became the largest concert in U.S. history last week. Now, that will never happen again.”
That sentiment was echoed by tens of thousands of fans and former fans who are now calling for a boycott of Bryan and his music. One popular comment summed it up:
“Dear Zach Bryan, F* you. Sincerely, American Patriots.”**
Let’s be clear: ICE agents risk their lives every single day to protect this nation’s sovereignty. They’re targeted by violent radicals, spit on, ambushed, and demonized not for breaking the law, but for enforcing it.
Attacks on ICE agents and their families have skyrocketed nearly 1,000% in just eight months.
Anti-ICE rhetoric from the media, left-wing politicians, and now entertainers like Bryan has created an atmosphere of open hostility toward law enforcement.
Meanwhile, the southern border is in free fall, with millions of illegal aliens flooding in, overwhelming cities, and draining taxpayer resources.
The music industry especially in country has always been a stronghold of patriotism and working-class values. But lately, that’s being eroded by performers who care more about woke virtue signaling than about the very people who made them famous.
Bryan’s decision to release an anti-ICE anthem in the middle of a national security crisis is not only tone-deaf it’s an insult to every agent in uniform and every American family affected by the consequences of illegal immigration.
This isn’t just “bad news.” It’s a career-defining mistake.
And if Bryan thought the country crowd would just roll over and hum along, he misread the room. Big time.
