Veterans Expose Tim Walz as a Military Fraud and Habitual Liar
Former National Guard Members Reveal Truth About Walz's Embellished Service Record.
In a scathing interview on Megyn Kelly’s podcast, four veterans who served with Minnesota Governor Tim Walz tore apart his claims about his military service, revealing a pattern of lies and exaggerations that cast serious doubts on his integrity. Walz, who has portrayed himself as a retired Command Sergeant Major with 24 years of service in the National Guard, was described by his former comrades as a “military impersonator,” a “habitual liar,” and worse.
The veterans recounted multiple instances where Walz has misrepresented his military career, including his dubious claim that he retired without knowing his unit was set to deploy to Iraq. One veteran noted that Walz’s repeated statements about “retiring as a Command Sergeant Major” were completely false, given that his actual rank at retirement was E-8 Master Sergeant, a fact that had been corrected by the Minnesota National Guard in 2005.
“He’s a habitual liar, he lies about everything,” one of the veterans stated bluntly. “He lies about stuff that doesn’t make sense. You’re taking a piece of their thunder, and you’re trying to capture it and put it in a bottle for yourself, and use that for your own benefit.” This veteran went on to describe Walz’s behavior as “morally indefensible” and “all about him,” accusing the governor of using his embellished service record to further his political career.
The veterans’ revelations paint a disturbing picture of a man who has repeatedly distorted his military service for personal gain. Kelly played a series of clips in which Walz either introduced himself as a “retired Command Sergeant Major” or allowed others to do so without correction—despite knowing that his official rank at retirement had been downgraded.
“So he ‘misspoke’ a lot,” Kelly quipped after airing the clips, pointing out that every instance of Walz claiming the higher rank occurred after the correction in September 2005. “He knew he had been demoted,” Kelly emphasized, highlighting the deliberate nature of Walz’s deceptions.
The interview concluded with a powerful indictment of Walz’s character. One veteran summed up the sentiment shared by all four: “Fear is a reaction. Bravery is a decision. And at every possible juncture, Walz made the wrong choice.”
These damning revelations raise serious questions about Tim Walz’s suitability for public office, particularly as he vies for the vice presidency alongside Kamala Harris. As voters head to the polls, they deserve to know the truth about the man asking for their trust and their vote.
