US Navy Unleashes Massive Missile Barrage Against Iran

New CENTCOM footage reveals the scale of American firepower as Operation Epic Fury dismantles Iran’s missile and naval threats.

The United States military just gave the world a glimpse of what overwhelming force actually looks like.

New footage released by U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) shows American naval destroyers unleashing a relentless wave of missile launches as part of Operation Epic Fury, the joint U.S.–Israel campaign targeting Iran’s military infrastructure. The short video just 51 seconds long captures nine rapid-fire missile launches lighting up the night sky from American warships.

The message from the Pentagon is unmistakable: the Iranian regime’s days of operating freely across the region are over.

CENTCOM described the operation in stark terms.

“U.S. Navy guided-missile destroyers are delivering unrelenting, overwhelming firepower from regional waters day and night.”

The video is only one piece of a broader military effort that began over the weekend as the United States and Israel launched coordinated strikes on Iranian nuclear, missile, and naval capabilities.

In the days since the operation began, CENTCOM has released multiple videos documenting the campaign’s progress.

One earlier clip showed American forces targeting mobile Iranian missile launchers, a critical part of Tehran’s ability to threaten U.S. allies and military bases in the region.

“U.S. forces are hunting these threats down,” the command said. “Without apology or hesitation, we are taking them out.”

The scale of the operation reflects the seriousness of the threat.

Iran possesses one of the largest missile arsenals in the Middle East, with more than 3,000 ballistic missiles according to defense analysts. Many of those missiles are capable of striking Israel, U.S. bases, and key infrastructure across the region.

At the same time, Iran has spent decades building naval capabilities aimed at disrupting international shipping.

That threat appears to be collapsing rapidly.

Another video released by CENTCOM showed American forces striking Iranian naval vessels in the Gulf of Oman a strategic waterway long used by the Iranian regime to harass commercial shipping and military patrols.

The results were immediate.

• Two days before the operation, Iran had 11 ships operating in the Gulf of Oman
• After the strikes, that number dropped to zero
• Key Iranian naval assets were destroyed or forced to retreat

CENTCOM did not mince words about the outcome.

“The Iranian regime has harassed and attacked international shipping in the Gulf of Oman for decades. Those days are over.”

The Gulf of Oman is a crucial corridor connecting the Persian Gulf to the wider Indian Ocean, and roughly one-fifth of the world’s oil supply passes through nearby waterways each day. That makes freedom of navigation in the region a top priority for global security and economic stability.

For years, Iranian patrol boats and naval units routinely harassed commercial vessels and Western warships operating in the area.

Operation Epic Fury appears designed to end that strategy decisively.

American guided-missile destroyers some capable of launching more than 90 precision strike missiles each are now positioned across the region, giving the United States enormous striking power against targets on land and at sea.

The missile barrage seen in the newly released footage underscores just how rapidly the U.S. military can project force when a threat emerges.

And based on the steady stream of footage from CENTCOM, the campaign against Iran’s military capabilities is far from finished.
