Netanyahu Awards Trump Israel’s Highest Civilian Honor
Trump becomes first non-Israeli to win the Israel Prize as leaders push forward on Middle East peace and Hamas disarmament.

In a powerful show of gratitude and recognition, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced Monday that President Donald J. Trump will receive Israel’s highest civilian honor the Israel Prize making him the first non-Israeli ever awarded the distinction.
“In almost our 80 years, we’ve never awarded it to a non-Israeli,” Netanyahu said during a joint press conference at Mar-a-Lago. “It’s going to be awarded to President Donald J. Trump for his tremendous contributions to Israel and the Jewish people.”
The prestigious award, given for the newly established peace category, reflects Trump’s unprecedented leadership in strengthening the U.S.-Israel alliance, brokering historic peace deals, and securing the release of Israeli hostages from Hamas captivity.
Netanyahu said he hopes Trump will visit Israel during Independence Day celebrations in May to formally receive the prize.
“This reflects the overwhelming sentiment of Israelis across the spectrum,” Netanyahu added.
Israeli Education Minister Yoav Kisch called into the meeting to deliver the news to Trump personally.
“That really is a great honor,” Trump replied. “Really surprising and very much appreciated.”
The award caps a landmark moment in U.S.-Israel relations under Trump’s renewed leadership. Following his sixth meeting with Netanyahu this year, the two leaders continued strategizing on the next phase of the Gaza peace plan, with the immediate priority being the disarmament of Hamas.
“It’ll be horrible for them horrible, really, really bad for them,” Trump warned, making clear that Hamas will face devastating consequences if it breaks its pledge to disarm. “If they’re not going to disarm, those same countries [that backed the ceasefire] will wipe out Hamas.”
Trump’s Middle East diplomacy is already delivering real results not hollow press releases or virtue-signaling, but actual deliverables: hostages freed, ceasefires respected, and global coalitions forming against terror.
His message to Iran was just as firm. “The missiles, yes. The nuclear, fast,” Trump said, confirming he would support an Israeli strike on Iran if it continues its ballistic and nuclear weapons programs. “We’ll do it immediately.”
Trump also pointed to growing unrest inside Iran, where protesters have taken to the streets after a historic collapse of the rial to 1.42 million per dollar.
“Every time they have a rioter or someone forms a group, they start shooting people,” Trump said. “They’re vicious, vicious people.”
While Biden remains on the sidelines and the UN offers little more than empty resolutions, Trump continues to reshape the global order with unapologetic clarity and strength.
This isn’t just another diplomatic win it’s a moment of history. A U.S. president not only defending Israel but being honored by it with the nation’s top civilian award.
And it’s further proof that when Trump leads, America doesn’t just watch from the sidelines we make peace, defeat terrorists, and stand shoulder to shoulder with our allies.
