Trump Says U.S. Military Is Stocked And Ready To Win

The president dismisses concerns about munitions shortages as the Iran campaign moves ahead of schedule.

President pushed back against reports questioning America’s munitions stockpiles, insisting that the United States military is fully prepared to sustain operations against Iran.

Posting on Truth Social Monday, Trump declared that U.S. weapons reserves are strong and capable of supporting a prolonged campaign if necessary.

“We have a virtually unlimited supply of these weapons,” Trump wrote. “The United States is stocked, and ready to WIN, BIG!!!”

His comments come as U.S. and Israeli forces continue coordinated strikes against Iranian missile systems and military infrastructure.

Reports from the indicated that some officials had privately raised questions about the long-term availability of interceptor missiles used to defend against Iranian drones and ballistic missiles.

According to reporting from the Wall Street Journal, Joint Chiefs Chairman flagged concerns about interceptor supplies before the strikes began.

Missile defense interceptors are critical for systems that protect U.S. bases and allies from incoming threats. These systems often fire multiple interceptors to guarantee a successful interception, meaning large stockpiles can be consumed quickly during sustained attacks.

Trump acknowledged that the United States still wants to increase certain reserves.

“At the highest end, we have a good supply, but are not where we want to be,” he wrote, noting that additional advanced weaponry is stored at allied facilities abroad.

Trump also took aim at his predecessor, arguing that U.S. stockpiles were depleted during the war in Ukraine.

He criticized former President for sending large quantities of military equipment to Ukrainian President as Kyiv fought against Russia’s invasion.

According to congressional reports, the United States approved more than $100 billion in combined military, humanitarian, and financial aid for Ukraine between 2022 and 2024.

Trump argued that the previous administration failed to replenish those supplies quickly enough.

“While he gave so much of the super high end away, he didn’t bother to replace it,” Trump said.

The military campaign against Iran launched alongside Israel is expected to continue for several weeks. Trump has estimated the operation could last roughly four to five weeks, though he said progress has already exceeded expectations.

“We’re already substantially ahead of our time projections,” the president said Monday.

A memo sent to Congress from the White House reinforced that confidence, stating that the United States has more ammunition than any other nation and enough resources to complete the operation successfully.

The memo also emphasized that the duration of the campaign will ultimately depend on evolving battlefield conditions and presidential decision-making.

The United States spends more on defense than any other country, with a military budget exceeding $800 billion annually. That funding supports the world’s most advanced missile defense systems, aircraft fleets, and precision-guided weapons.

Trump credited earlier modernization efforts during his first term with strengthening the military’s readiness for conflicts like the current confrontation with Iran.

As the operation continues, the administration maintains that America’s arsenal combined with Israeli capabilities will ensure the mission’s success.

Whether the conflict remains limited or expands further across the region remains uncertain. But according to the president, the United States has the resources it needs to sustain the fight.
