Trump Arrives in Saudi Arabia to Launch $1 Trillion Investment Mission

Welcomed with fighter jets and royal fanfare, Trump begins Middle East tour with high-stakes deals and unmatched diplomacy.

President Donald Trump landed in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia on Tuesday to begin his high-stakes Middle East tour, kicking off what promises to be a landmark trip focused on security, energy, and $1 trillion in U.S. investment commitments.

Arriving aboard Air Force One flanked by Saudi F-15 fighter jets Trump was welcomed on the tarmac by Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, marking a striking display of royal respect. The two then traveled to the Saudi Royal Court, escorted in a traditional Arabian horse procession, where Trump and bin Salman got straight to business.

“I really believe we like each other a lot,” Trump said during his meeting with the crown prince. “Saudi investment in the United States could create up to two million jobs.”

That statement isn’t just diplomatic optimism it’s based on Trump’s March agreement with the Saudis, who committed to purchasing $1 trillion in American goods and services over a four-year period. The scale of this deal is historic, and it’s happening because Trump knows how to make America an economic powerhouse on the global stage again.

Trump’s arrival wasn’t just about diplomacy it was about commerce on a scale Washington hasn’t seen in decades. An elite group of global CEOs and financial titans are accompanying the trip, including:

  • Elon Musk

  • Stephen Schwarzman (Blackstone)

  • Larry Fink (BlackRock)

  • Andy Jassy (Amazon)

  • Sam Altman (OpenAI)

  • Reid Hoffman (LinkedIn)

  • Gianni Infantino (FIFA)

“They’re going to walk away with a lot of checks for a lot of things that you’re going to provide,” Trump told the crown prince.

Top Trump officials were also present, including Secretary of State Marco Rubio, Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth, Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent, Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick, and Energy Secretary Chris Wright. Trump’s Special Envoy Steve Witkoff and Deputy Chief of Staff Stephen Miller also joined the closed-door sessions.

This isn’t just another summit. It’s a strategic realignment of power, capital, and policy, with Trump once again showing how to blend diplomacy and business for America’s benefit.

The visit to Saudi Arabia is the first stop of Trump’s second foreign trip since retaking the presidency. His first: Pope Francis’ funeral at the Vatican another reminder that Trump, not Biden, is leading the United States on the world stage.

From Riyadh, Trump is expected to head to Qatar, the UAE, and possibly Turkey, where peace talks between Russia and Ukraine are set to take place. Trump has been instrumental in pushing both sides toward diplomacy, with Ukrainian President Zelensky personally inviting Trump to attend.

This trip is about more than handshakes and press releases. It’s about real deals, real leadership, and real results. Where Biden insulted allies, Trump is forging billion-dollar partnerships. Where Biden fumbled diplomacy, Trump is making America the center of global decision-making again.

The world is watching and once again, Trump is delivering.
