Trump Hits Back at Kamala’s DNC Address: ‘Complains About Everything, Does Nothing!’

Trump Fires Back, Accuses Harris of Ignoring Key Issues and Pushing False Narratives.

Former President Donald Trump wasted no time responding to Vice President Kamala Harris’ speech at the Democratic National Convention on Thursday night, launching a blistering attack on her record and rhetoric. Harris, who officially accepted her party’s nomination, spent much of her address targeting Trump. But as she spoke, Trump took to Truth Social to unleash a series of posts condemning Harris for "complaining about everything but doing nothing."

“She’s done nothing for three and a half years but talk, and that’s what she’s doing tonight, she’s complaining about everything but doing nothing!” Trump fired off in one of his posts. He didn’t mince words, urging Harris to "leave the Speech right now, go to Washington, D.C., close the Border, allow fracking in Pennsylvania and other places, and start doing the things she’s complaining about aren’t done!"

Harris had tried to paint a picture of her administration's success, particularly on issues like border security and abortion rights, but Trump was having none of it. He mocked Harris’ claim that the Biden administration had crafted the strongest border bill in decades, accusing her of using it as a "political ploy" rather than a genuine solution to the ongoing crisis.

“The Border Bill is one of the worst ever written, would have allowed millions of people into our Country, and it’s only a political ploy by her!” Trump wrote. He also criticized Harris for ignoring the real solution, which he believes is straightforward: “As President, Crooked Joe and her could have just said, ‘CLOSE THE BORDER!’ like I did – I didn’t have a Bill, I didn’t need a Bill. The Border Patrol respected me, they did their job. We had the Safest Border in Recorded History!”

Trump also took aim at Harris’ comments on abortion, where she claimed that Trump wants to "limit access to birth control, ban medication abortion, and enact a nationwide abortion ban." Trump dismissed these accusations as outright lies, emphasizing his stance on returning the issue of abortion to the states—a position that aligns with the wishes of many Americans across the political spectrum.

“Everybody, Democrats, Republicans, Liberals, and Conservatives, wanted Roe v. Wade TERMINATED, and brought back to the States,” Trump asserted. He also clarified that he does not support limiting access to birth control or in vitro fertilization, calling Harris’ statements "false stories that she’s making up."

In his final posts, Trump criticized Harris for sidestepping key issues such as China, fracking, energy policy, and the ongoing conflict between Russia and Ukraine. He pointed out that under the Biden-Harris administration, 60 million Americans are living in poverty, yet Harris failed to even mention them during her speech.

“She didn’t mention China, she didn’t mention fracking, she didn’t mention Energy, she didn’t mention, meaningfully, Russia and Ukraine,” Trump noted, highlighting what he sees as the Democratic Party’s lack of focus on the pressing issues facing the nation.

As the 2024 race heats up, Trump’s rapid-fire response to Harris’ speech signals a fierce battle ahead. With both sides preparing to double down on their messages, the question remains: who will the American people believe?
