80,000 Pages of JFK Assassination Files Released by Trump
The Biden administration stalled, but Trump delivers full transparency on JFK’s death.

President Donald Trump just delivered a massive blow to government secrecy, fulfilling his long-standing promise to the American people. Roughly 80,000 pages of previously classified documents related to the 1963 assassination of President John F. Kennedy have been released completely unredacted.
For decades, these files have been locked away under layers of bureaucracy, fueling conspiracy theories and distrust in government. Now, thanks to Trump’s executive order, they’re available to anyone online or at the National Archives in Maryland.
Promises made, promises kept.
Tulsi Gabbard, Director of National Intelligence under Trump, put it plainly: “President Trump is ushering in a new era of maximum transparency.”
Here’s what makes this release a game-changer:
No redactions: Unlike previous administrations, Trump’s order ensures nothing is blacked out or hidden from public view.
Easier access: Digitization efforts are underway, allowing Americans to browse the files conveniently online without traveling to Washington.
More disclosures coming: The ODNI is working to unseal additional files tied up in courts or protected by outdated secrecy laws.
Contrast this with Biden’s track record. Despite repeated opportunities, the Biden administration delayed full disclosure, citing vague “national security concerns.” Even under Trump’s first term, initial releases were slow-walked by entrenched bureaucrats, but now, with renewed leadership, the floodgates are finally open.
Let’s not forget, this is not the first time Trump’s bold leadership has forced the government’s hand. In 2023, he vowed to release all remaining JFK files, along with documents related to Robert F. Kennedy’s assassination and the suspicious death of Martin Luther King Jr. True to form, he signed orders for their declassification immediately after returning to office in January.
It’s worth noting that over 97% of the Kennedy assassination records roughly 5 million pages were technically public by the end of 2022, but much of that was heavily redacted and incomplete. Trump’s order wipes away decades of excuses.
The release isn’t just a victory for transparency it’s a direct challenge to the kind of corruption and incompetence that’s become synonymous with today’s Democratic leadership. After all, who benefits from keeping history under lock and key?
While Trump’s administration takes clear steps to empower the public, Biden’s camp continues its pattern of stonewalling, secrecy, and slow decay. Once again, it takes strong Republican leadership to pull back the curtain.
