Trump Pardons Devon Archer

Hunter Biden’s ex-business partner gets relief after being “screwed by the Bidens”

In a bold move that underscores the growing backlash against Biden family corruption, President Donald Trump issued a pardon Tuesday for Devon Archer, Hunter Biden’s former business partner. Archer had been convicted for defrauding a Native American tribe in a financial scheme but many believe the real story is how deeply Hunter Biden was involved, and yet once again walked away untouched.

The pardon, which followed a weekend meeting between Archer and Trump at a wrestling event, is already sending shockwaves through Washington. Trump told the press plainly “He was screwed by the Bidens. They destroyed him like they tried to destroy a lot of people.”

Archer’s story paints a familiar picture of elites covering for each other, of selective prosecution, and of a two-tiered justice system:

  • Archer was sentenced for his role in a $60 million bond fraud scheme, one that multiple witnesses said Hunter Biden was part of.

  • Archer’s own lawyer said Hunter was involved, but federal prosecutors made sure Hunter was never charged.

  • In text messages from Hunter’s infamous laptop, Archer pleaded for help from the Biden family, asking why he had been “ruined” by Joe Biden’s DOJ appointees.

Perhaps most revealing is Hunter’s response, dripping with delusion and entitlement. “Every great family is persecuted… you are a Biden,” he wrote unironically trying to comfort Archer as he faced prison for a scheme both had allegedly benefited from.

The twisted irony? While Trump pardoned Archer, Joe Biden quietly pardoned his own son last year after a decade of criminal behavior involving drugs, firearms, tax fraud, and alleged foreign bribery. But unlike Archer, Hunter had the “Biden brand” to shield him.

Devon Archer’s turn against the Bidens came to a head in 2023 when he testified under oath to Congress, confirming what conservatives have known all along: Hunter was selling access to his father. Archer told lawmakers that Joe Biden was present on speakerphone over 20 times during Hunter’s foreign business dealings. He admitted their entire enterprise revolved around cashing in on Biden’s political influence.

And it wasn’t just Burisma. Archer and Hunter tried to land massive foreign business deals in China, Kazakhstan, and Ukraine bringing in shadowy international figures who were all too eager to pay for access to the White House. As business partner Jason Galanis testified, “Devon and Hunter’s value to the enterprise was their access to Vice President Biden.”

Let that sink in: they weren't selling products, they were selling Joe Biden.

Once a Democratic fundraiser and insider, Archer flipped sides in 2023 to back Trump no doubt after realizing how expendable he was to the Bidens. Now, with Trump giving him a second chance, Archer becomes yet another symbol of those chewed up and discarded by Biden-world when they’re no longer useful.
