Trump Declares ‘Golden Age of the Middle East’ in Knesset Speech Following Hostage Release
In historic Knesset address, Trump hailed as Israel’s greatest ally and nominated for Nobel Peace Prize.

Standing before the Israeli Knesset just hours after the final hostages were freed from Hamas captivity, President Donald Trump declared a new era of peace in the Middle East a stunning moment of triumph for diplomacy, strength, and American leadership.
“After two harrowing years in darkness and captivity, 20 courageous hostages are returning to the glorious embrace of their families,” Trump said to a packed chamber. “Twenty-eight more precious loved ones are coming home at last to rest in this sacred soil for all of time.”
The crowd of Israeli lawmakers erupted in applause many visibly emotional as Trump continued. “The skies are calm, the guns are silent, the sirens are still, and the sun rises on a Holy Land that is finally at peace.”
It was a moment that would have been unthinkable under the Biden administration a region in flames, hostages abandoned, and American influence fading. But Trump, through a relentless campaign of pressure and negotiation, delivered what the world said was impossible: peace between Israel and Hamas, the safe return of hostages, and the silence of rockets for the first time in years.
The Knesset responded in kind. Speaker Amir Ohana did not hold back. “You, President Trump, are a colossus who will be enshrined in the pantheon of history. Thousands of years from now the Jewish people will remember you.”
Ohana compared Trump to Cyrus the Great, the ancient Persian king who liberated the Jews from Babylonian exile a comparison that reflects just how deeply Trump’s leadership is resonating across the Jewish state.
And it wasn’t just symbolic words. The Knesset formally declared Trump “the greatest friend Israel ever had in the White House”, and both Speaker Ohana and Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced efforts to nominate Trump for the Nobel Peace Prize in 2026.
But that’s not all Netanyahu also revealed that Trump will be nominated for the Israel Prize, the nation’s highest civilian honor. If confirmed, Trump would become the first non-Israeli citizen in history to receive it.
Let’s put this in perspective:
Trump brought 20 hostages home alive, and secured the return of 28 more fallen Israelis.
He ended the war that the Biden administration allowed to drag on for nearly two years.
He was honored not just as a foreign leader, but as a hero of the Jewish people.
Prime Minister Netanyahu made it crystal clear. “Donald Trump is the greatest friend Israel has ever had in the White House. No American president has ever done more for Israel than this one and it ain’t even close.”
As Biden struggles to read from a teleprompter and Kamala Harris rambles in clichés, Trump is being immortalized in the Middle East for accomplishing what generations of leaders couldn’t. Peace through strength, hostages home, and America respected again.
If this is what the next Trump presidency looks like, the world should be watching and taking notes.
