Trump Jr. Condemns Manhattan Trial as Political Persecution

Trump Jr. blasts verdict, calling it a sign of America's decline

Donald Trump Jr., the eldest son of former President Donald Trump, harshly criticized the Manhattan District Attorney's trial against his father on Thursday, following a jury's controversial guilty verdict. Trump Jr.'s reaction underscores the belief among many of Trump's supporters that the trial was politically motivated.

The jury's decision marked the end of a highly publicized court battle in which former President Trump insisted he was the victim of "political persecution." This sentiment was seemingly echoed by the Biden campaign's decision to hold a political event outside the courthouse as the trial concluded. The former president was convicted on all 34 charges in the hush-money case involving porn actress Stormy Daniels.

"Such bulls***. Guilty on all counts," Trump Jr. exclaimed in a post on X. "The Democrats have succeeded in their years-long attempt to turn America into a third-world s**thole. November 5 is our last chance to save it."

Trump Jr. highlighted the timing of the sentencing, scheduled just four days before the GOP Convention, as blatant election interference. "Sentencing is 4 days before the GOP Convention…They’re not even trying to hide the ELECTION INTERFERENCE!!!!" he continued. "This case was rigged from the start. Remember, the same hacks in the media demanding Justice Alito recuse himself because of a flag, have zero problem with the corrupt judge in this case being a donor to Joe Biden or his daughter making millions from Democrats!"

He pointed out that Judge Juan Merchan, who presided over the trial, was a known Biden donor, questioning the judge's impartiality. "This is what a 3rd world Banana Republic looks like," Trump Jr. added.

Following the verdict, Trump Jr. posted a link encouraging supporters to donate to his father's campaign. The response was so overwhelming that the website experienced repeated crashes due to the high traffic.

Eric Trump, the former president’s second oldest son, also weighed in: “May 30th, 2024 might be remembered as the day Donald J. Trump won the 2024 Presidential Election.”

The reactions from Trump’s family highlight the deep political divide and the contentious nature of this trial. As the 2024 election approaches, these events will undoubtedly play a significant role in shaping the political landscape.
