Trump Jr. Blames Media for Assassination Attempt on His Father

Donald Trump Jr. is not holding back when it comes to assigning blame for the recent assassination attempt on his father. In an exclusive interview with The Daily Wire during the Democratic National Convention, Trump Jr. placed responsibility squarely on the shoulders of the mainstream media, accusing them of fueling the hatred that led to the attack.

Trump Jr. referred to the media as “regime propagandists,” accusing them of shielding Vice President Kamala Harris from accountability while continuously vilifying his father. He stated, “She’s been the presumptive nominee for basically a month, she has yet to answer any actual questions.” Trump Jr. criticized the media for their apparent lack of interest in pressing Harris on her record, noting that any public appearances she has made have been carefully controlled.

“She’s not taken any questions from the press,” he continued. “Anything she’s done has been scripted on a teleprompter, and no one in the media even cares.” Trump Jr. slammed the media for their double standards, arguing that while they relentlessly attack Republicans, they give Harris a free pass, allowing her to avoid scrutiny.

The son of the former president went on to call the media’s behavior “truly embarrassing” and a “disgrace” to the country. He accused them of hypocrisy, pointing out that while they label Republicans as threats to democracy, they engage in actions that undermine democratic principles. Trump Jr. didn’t mince words, asserting, “They’re the ones that want to jail their political opposition. They’re the ones that want to censor and silence them. They are the ones that, you know, ultimately caused an assassination attempt of the leading candidate of the opposition party.”

Trump Jr.’s comments highlight a growing frustration among conservatives who feel that the media is not just biased but actively working to silence their voices and protect Democratic candidates at all costs. The recent assassination attempt has only intensified these concerns, with many on the right now openly questioning the media’s role in fostering a dangerous political climate.
