New Joint Chiefs Chairman Played Major Role in Trump’s ISIS Operations
Caine’s rise marks a bold departure from woke leadership and a return to mission-first military priorities.

In a decisive move for America’s military direction, the Senate has confirmed General Caine President Trump’s handpicked warrior as the new chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff. The vote passed 60 to 25 in the early hours of Friday morning, with 15 Democrats crossing the aisle to support Trump’s unconventional but battle-tested nominee.
General Caine is no bureaucrat. He’s the combat-savvy Air Force pilot who stood face-to-face with President Trump in 2018 and laid out a plan to annihilate ISIS. With Trump’s support and a surge of resources, that’s exactly what happened. Now, he’s being brought back to lead America’s military from the top replacing Biden’s woke pick, Gen. C.Q. Brown, who was fired in February after pushing diversity politics over battlefield readiness.
Here’s what makes Caine’s confirmation historic:
First National Guard officer to serve as Joint Chiefs chairman.
First to come out of retirement and not hold a four-star rank.
Granted a special waiver by Trump to bypass conventional rules.
Former CIA military affairs director, counterterrorism specialist, and founder of a regional airline in Texas.
Caine’s straightforward, no-nonsense approach was on full display during his Senate confirmation hearing.
“I acknowledge that I'm an unconventional nominee. These are unconventional times,” he said, reinforcing his readiness to serve without political interference.
Though the left tried to smear him by tying him to a MAGA hat story Trump jokingly claimed Caine was wearing one when they first met the general firmly shut it down:
“I have never worn any political merchandise,” he told the Armed Services Committee. “I’ve upheld my oath of office for 34 years.”
This is a clear break from the politicized Pentagon that America suffered under during the Biden years. Gen. Mark Milley, Trump’s first Joint Chiefs chairman, ultimately betrayed that trust Trump has since revoked his security clearance and had his portrait removed from the Pentagon.
Now, the Trump administration is sending a clear message: America’s military will return to prioritizing mission over identity politics, and victory over virtue signaling.
Caine has vowed to serve as a nonpartisan advisor to the president, focused solely on defending the nation and restoring America’s strength.
“It starts with being a good example from the top and making sure that we are nonpartisan and apolitical and speaking the truth to power,” he said.
The Pentagon is finally under the leadership of a warfighter not a woke bureaucrat. And with Trump back in command, America's enemies are officially on notice.
