Trump Says Satellite Images Prove ‘Monumental Damage’ to Iran’s Nuclear Sites

Satellite imagery reveals devastating damage to Iran’s buried nuclear facilities after U.S. strikes.

Former President Donald Trump on Sunday night celebrated what he described as “obliteration” of Iran’s nuclear infrastructure, after reviewing satellite images that allegedly show his ordered bombing campaign scoring a “bullseye.”

Trump took to social media writing that the satellite photos “show monumental damage was done to all nuclear sites in Iran,” emphasizing the precision of the strikes. “Obliteration is an accurate term!” he added. The images reportedly display massive holes carved hundreds of feet into the rock at Fordo, Natanz, and Isfahan home to deep-buried centrifuges and critical nuclear components.

According to experts cited by Reuters, satellite analysts confirmed Fordo was “severely damaged and possibly destroyed,” though the depth of its facilities (nearly 300 ft below ground) limits full visual confirmation. Images show six clear bunker-buster impacts, each reaching down approximately 200 ft before detonation.

Adding to the offensive, American B‑2 bombers and Tomahawk missiles struck Natanz and Isfahan. Former U.N. inspector David Albright called the Natanz strike a “likely” destruction of a vital site. Meanwhile, Isfahan endured a more intense assault over two dozen Tomahawks launched from a U.S. submarine, blasting the plant into ruins. A senior Israeli intelligence official reportedly called it “annihilated,” while a senior research fellow at the Institute for Science and International Security said it was “severely damaged” and “knocked out of operation.”

Key highlights of the operation:

  • Fordo: Roughly six bunker‐buster strike points, confirmed penetration ~200 ft deep.

  • Natanz: Nuclear core area likely destroyed, per independent expert.

  • Isfahan: More than 24 cruise missiles obliterated key buildings and halted operations.

Beyond the physical impact, this mission sends a clear strategic message Iran’s ambition to build nuclear weapons will face direct and decisive consequences. Critics of the Biden–Harris administration argue this decisive military action underscores what they see as a contrast where Democratic leadership pursued diplomacy and restraint, Trump-era tactics leveraged military precision to dismantle threats swiftly and visibly.

A CNN‑ABC poll from March showed only 29 percent of Americans supported direct military action against Iran’s nuclear sites a sharp contrast to the apparent confidence of Trump’s operation. This pushback, however, may shift dramatically in light of tangible evidence revealing extensive damage to Iranian nuclear capabilities.

For conservatives and libertarians, these images are vindication: a reminder that strength and clarity in foreign policy can deter enemies and uphold national security. As Trump said, “Great skill was shown by our military.” His declaration of “Bullseye!!!” drives home the message: America can still act decisively when it matters most.
