Trump Poised to Hold Kamala Harris Accountable for Biden’s Failures

Donald Trump is set to make Vice President Kamala Harris answer for what many see as the catastrophic failures of the Biden administration in the upcoming presidential debate. According to Trump’s advisers, he plans to highlight her central role in decisions that have left the country in turmoil—from the botched Afghanistan withdrawal to the spiraling border crisis.

Senior Trump adviser Jason Miller revealed that Trump would hammer home Harris’s responsibility for the current state of the nation. “You can’t talk about turning the page when you’re the one who created our current nightmare,” Miller said, pointing out that Harris was a key player in Biden’s decision-making. The former president will contrast his own record of success with what he describes as the "disastrous" leadership of the Biden-Harris administration.

Here are some key points Trump’s team aims to hit during the debate:

• Border Crisis: As the administration’s designated “Border Czar,” Harris has presided over an unprecedented surge in illegal immigration, exacerbating security issues and draining resources at the border.

• Economic Disaster: Harris cast the tie-breaking vote on key stimulus packages that fueled inflation. Americans have faced skyrocketing prices on essentials, thanks to the reckless spending she supported.

• Foreign Policy Failures: From the humiliating Afghanistan withdrawal to Harris’s inconsistent stance on Israel, Trump’s team is set to paint the VP as unfit to navigate the complex world of global politics.

Miller didn’t stop there. He blamed Harris for the administration’s weak responses to the Maui wildfires and the Ohio train derailment disaster. “Every single one of these disasters are on Kamala Harris,” he emphasized.

Trump’s allies also see Harris’s lack of public engagement as a major liability. Rep. Matt Gaetz noted that she has avoided media scrutiny, which makes the stakes even higher for her performance. Gaetz argued that Harris will try to distance herself from Biden’s sinking ship, but it will be a difficult task considering her long history of supporting liberal policies that have harmed the country.

Former Rep. Tulsi Gabbard echoed these sentiments, particularly in criticizing Harris’s foreign policy record. Gabbard called out Harris’s failure to prioritize the U.S.-Israel relationship and her dangerous soft-pedaling on radical Islamist terrorism.

As Harris prepares behind closed doors, reportedly practicing with a debate partner impersonating Trump, her camp is expected to shift focus to portraying Trump as out of touch and only concerned with enriching the wealthy. But with a record of failure and chaos at her feet, it’s hard to see how she will escape accountability when the spotlight is on.
