Aid Trucks Enter Gaza as Trump’s Plan Bypasses Hamas

Trump’s bold distribution strategy cuts out terrorists and puts America back in charge of real humanitarian relief.

For the first time in nearly three months, aid trucks entered Gaza on Monday but not because of anything the Biden administration did. This renewed flow of humanitarian assistance comes straight from President Donald Trump’s bold new strategy to deliver aid without feeding Hamas’ war machine.

The last time food trucks rolled into Gaza was back in early March. Israel had rightly shut it down after watching Hamas seize supplies, sell them on the black market, and use the proceeds to buy more weapons. But under Trump’s direction, the United States is implementing a dramatically different approach one designed to help civilians, not terrorists.

Here’s what makes Trump’s plan different and effective:

  • American contractors, not corrupt NGOs, will handle the aid under tight U.S. oversight.

  • Distribution zones will be secured to prevent Hamas interference.

  • Israel provides security but doesn’t touch the food, reducing Hamas propaganda about the blockade.

This plan, backed by U.S. Ambassador to Israel Mike Huckabee, is being carried out through the newly created Gaza Humanitarian Foundation (GHF). The goal? Feed over a million people in the early stages, and eventually the entire population without letting a crumb fall into terrorist hands.

Jake Wood, executive director of the GHF, put it bluntly: "We are building a secure, transparent system... without diversion or delay." And it’s badly needed Hamas has turned aid trucks into a cash register while civilians starve.

The companies executing this on the ground, Safe Reach Solutions and UG Solutions, have already proven they can work in hostile territory. They played a key role during the January ceasefire, helping Egyptian authorities safely manage vehicle checks between southern and northern Gaza.

Since Friday, Israel has ramped up its military operations, launching “Operation Gideon’s Chariots” a full-scale offensive that’s hammering Hamas targets across the Strip. According to the IDF, hundreds of key Hamas positions have been eliminated, including:

  • Booby-trapped buildings

  • Weapons storage facilities

  • Missile launch posts

  • Tunnels and command centers

Despite the military push, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu allowed limited food delivery to avoid a starvation crisis not because of pressure from the left, but to ensure the operation doesn’t backfire strategically. “No starvation crisis must develop,” his office said plainly.

Yet the decision hasn’t been without controversy. Israeli National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir criticized the American-led plan, warning that “any humanitarian aid that enters the Strip… will fuel Hamas and give it oxygen.” And he’s not wrong to worry under past Democrat-led plans, that’s exactly what happened.

But Trump’s strategy is a complete departure from Biden’s incompetent foreign policy. It’s calculated, controlled, and aimed squarely at saving lives without empowering killers.

Americans and especially Israel should take note. This is what leadership looks like: helping those in need while keeping terrorists on the run. With Trump back at the helm, the days of naive diplomacy and dangerous aid pipelines may finally be over.
