Trump Declares War on Antifa After Portland Chaos

White House vows sweeping crackdown on leftist terror cells as journalists detail years of unchecked violence.

President Donald Trump has officially turned the spotlight back on one of America’s most dangerous domestic threats Antifa. In a high-stakes roundtable held at the White House this week, Trump met with journalists who’ve been on the frontlines of left-wing violence, vowing to dismantle the group once and for all.

“These are agitators, anarchists and they’re paid,” Trump declared, slamming the group he recently designated as a domestic terrorist organization. For years, Antifa has operated under a shroud of media protection and political cover from the left. But those days are over.

The president was joined by several conservative journalists and commentators including Andy Ngo, Nick Sortor, Katie Daviscourt, Julio Rosas, Brandi Kruse, Savanah Hernandez, and Jack Posobiec all of whom have either documented or been directly attacked by Antifa operatives during violent uprisings, most infamously in Portland and Seattle.

Key points from the roundtable included:

  • Attorney General Pam Bondi promised to “destroy the entire organization from top to bottom,” comparing the approach to how federal agencies take down drug cartels.

  • FBI Director Kash Patel vowed mass arrests, stating, “They are harming everyday citizens in every single one of our communities.”

  • Journalist Andy Ngo, who has suffered multiple attacks from Antifa, called for federal conspiracy charges, emphasizing the group’s deceptive, decentralized nature.

The event came just days after renewed violence in Portland, where Antifa-linked rioters clashed with authorities near ICE facilities. Despite the chaos, a federal judge, Karin J. Immergut, blocked Trump’s National Guard deployment, tying the administration’s hands even as public safety continues to deteriorate.

While the Biden administration has played semantics about Antifa being “an idea,” Trump and his team are calling it what it truly is: a network of radicalized political terrorists.

Seattle reporter Brandi Kruse echoed this reality, saying the president’s acknowledgment that Antifa is real was one of the most impactful parts of the discussion. “Once you take the mask off, they’re nothing,” she said. But she also warned that until they're unmasked, they’re dangerous especially as they operate in a cross-border capacity between cities like Portland and Seattle.

Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton issued a chilling yet necessary statement the day before the roundtable, saying that Antifa is only part of a broader leftist terror threat. “Corrupted ideologies like transgenderism and Antifa are a cancer on our culture,” he stated, warning of “deranged and drugged-up foot soldiers” unleashed on the American people.

Paxton added that his office is running undercover investigations to infiltrate and shut down what he called “leftist terror cells.”

He concluded with a stark warning: “You cannot hide, you cannot escape, and justice is coming.”

The White House event marks a turning point in how the federal government is prepared to deal with Antifa. No more press conferences. No more platitudes. No more kid gloves.

Real law and order is back.

And make no mistake this issue is going to matter in 2024. Americans are tired of watching cities burn while weak Democratic leadership bows to mobs. They’ve seen the double standard in full view conservative protesters are hunted by the DOJ, while Antifa thugs walk free after committing violent assaults and destruction.

With Trump leading the charge once again, and states like Texas getting serious about rooting out leftist extremism, the message is clear: Antifa’s reign of chaos is over.
