House Republicans Propose Placing Trump on $100 Bill
The “Golden Age Act” aims to honor Trump’s impact on America’s resurgence.

House Republicans have introduced a bold new proposal to place President Donald Trump’s face on the $100 bill, a move designed to commemorate his leadership and vision for America’s future.
The "Golden Age Act of 2025" would require Trump’s image to appear on all $100 bills by 2028.
Rep. Brandon Gill (R-TX) introduced the bill, citing Trump’s unwavering fight for America.
GOP lawmakers are making additional efforts to honor Trump, including renaming Dulles Airport after him.
“President Trump could be enjoying his golden years golfing and spending time with his family,” Gill stated. “Instead, he took a bullet for this country and is now working overtime to secure our border, fix our uneven trade relationships, make America energy independent again, and put America first.”
The proposal reflects Trump’s enduring influence on the country, particularly as his policies have helped revive the economy, secure the border, and restore American sovereignty on the world stage. The bill mandates that the Secretary of Treasury unveil a preliminary design by December 31, 2026, with all newly issued $100 bills featuring Trump’s image by the end of 2028.
Co-sponsored by Rep. Troy Nehls (R-TX), the bill has already gained traction among House conservatives. Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-CO) publicly declared her intent to sign on as a co-sponsor after Gill posted a mock-up of the redesigned note on X.
Democrats, of course, reacted with mockery. Rep. Jared Moskowitz (D-FL) sarcastically suggested that Trump should be placed on a $10,000 bill instead. But this isn’t the first attempt to commemorate Trump in government institutions. Rep. Paul Gosar (R-AZ) previously introduced a bill to put Trump on a $500 note, and earlier this year, freshman Rep. Addison McDowell (R-NC) proposed renaming Washington Dulles International Airport in Trump’s honor.
Whether or not the bill gains traction in Congress, one thing is clear: Trump’s legacy is already cemented in American history. The effort to honor him on the nation’s most widely circulated currency is just one more sign of the movement he has built.
