Ted Cruz: Biden Funded Terrorist Death Squads

Senator Ted Cruz accuses President Biden of indirectly supporting terrorism through policies benefiting Iran and Hamas.

Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX) has launched a blistering attack on President Joe Biden, accusing him of enacting policies that have resulted in the deaths of Jews at the hands of terrorists. Speaking on his “Verdict” podcast with co-host Ben Ferguson, Cruz discussed the recent developments in Israel's war against Hamas and the broader implications for U.S. politics.

Cruz did not mince words:

  • Biden has funneled over $100 billion to Iran, easing sanctions and indirectly funding terror groups like Hamas and Hezbollah.

  • He claimed that 90% of Hamas and Hezbollah’s funding comes from Iran, implicating Biden in supporting these organizations.

  • Hundreds of millions of dollars sent to Gaza by the Biden administration have allegedly ended up in Hamas' hands, used to perpetrate terrorist attacks.

Cruz sharply criticized Biden's response to the October 7 Hamas attack, suggesting that it shows a lack of concern for Israel's plight. He highlighted how Biden's policies have, in his view, emboldened Iran and its proxies, leading to increased violence against Jews.

Furthermore, Cruz targeted Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY), labeling him as one of Hamas and Hezbollah's greatest allies despite his historical stance as a supporter of Israel. According to Cruz, Schumer's current alignment with Biden and the Democratic Party’s radical left base contradicts his long-standing pro-Israel rhetoric.

Cruz's comments underscore the deepening political divide over U.S. foreign policy in the Middle East, especially regarding support for Israel and opposition to terrorist groups.
