Stefanik Declares Kamala Harris Unfit to Serve as Commander in Chief

Criticism Mounts Over Harris' National Security Failures.

House Republican Conference Chairwoman Elise Stefanik (R-NY) did not mince words on Sunday, declaring Vice President Kamala Harris unfit to serve as commander in chief. Stefanik’s sharp criticism came during an appearance on "Sunday Morning Futures," where she responded to the tragic discovery of six hostages, including 23-year-old American-Israeli Hersh Goldberg-Polin, murdered by Hamas in Gaza.

  • Stefanik pointed directly to the Biden-Harris administration, holding them accountable for the disastrous handling of the situation, including the withholding of critical military aid to Israel.

  • She emphasized that the failure to protect American citizens and the administration's weak support for Israel proves Harris is not capable of defending U.S. national security interests.

  • The congresswoman also referenced the catastrophic withdrawal from Afghanistan, marking it as another failure on Harris' record as a national security advisor.

Stefanik expressed deep empathy for the families of the hostages, particularly Goldberg-Polin’s parents, with whom she has met. But her message was clear: Kamala Harris’ incompetence on the world stage is a grave threat to the safety of Americans and the security of the nation.

Drawing a parallel to the anniversary of the Kabul airport bombing that killed 13 U.S. service members during the Afghanistan withdrawal, Stefanik reminded viewers that Harris was "the last person in the room" advising President Biden on that catastrophic decision. Despite this, Harris’ campaign continues to politicize issues while dodging responsibility for these failures.

With the stakes higher than ever, Stefanik’s blunt assessment is a call to action: ensuring that Kamala Harris never ascends to the role of commander in chief is not just a political imperative, but a necessity for the safety of the American people.
