Roseanne Barr Attacks 'The View' Hosts, Labels Them 'Communist Crusaders'
Barr defends Trump and criticizes TV personalities in candid interview.
Outspoken comedian Roseanne Barr didn’t hold back during her appearance on The Michael Knowles Show, where she shared her unfiltered opinions about the activist co-hosts on “The View.”
Barr was particularly critical of the hosts' reaction to former President Donald Trump’s guilty verdict in the Manhattan hush-money case. The verdict, which has been criticized by many legal experts, was celebrated by Whoopi Goldberg and her co-hosts, including those identifying as Republicans.
Barr, currently starring in the new DailyWire+ animated comedy “Mr. Birchum,” joined Knowles on Tuesday to discuss the show and various political issues. She expressed her belief that Trump is a crucial figure in preventing the nation's destruction. “We’re in living history,” Barr stated. “It’s quite biblical.”
She condemned the legal actions against Trump, calling them a “terrible miscarriage of justice.” Barr argued that these actions are undermining America's judicial system, disappointing Americans who value the Constitution and the republic. She accused leftists of attempting to “destroy America,” asserting, “America is the only thing that stands in the way of their global one-world Nazi government.”
Barr highlighted how recent events have exposed the true agenda of these activists. Turning her attention to the women of “The View,” she criticized the show for lacking fairness and balance. “I thought America was about being fair and showing two sides… because it is that way in reality. I felt like on television it was your duty to represent two sides and not like, be ‘The View,’” Barr said. “They’re all communist crusaders.”
She specifically targeted Whoopi Goldberg, calling her a “cultural appropriator of Judaism” and labeling her persona as “Jew-face.” Barr found this particularly offensive, especially given current contexts. She also described co-host Joy Behar as “an alien” from “another planet.”
Barr recounted her own struggles with ABC producers when trying to incorporate racial diversity into her show. She faced significant pushback, including over the name of a black character and the representation of black actors on set. Despite resistance, Barr insisted on including a “mixed-race granddaughter” on the show, even when producers claimed they couldn’t find a suitable actor.
The interview underscores Barr’s strong opinions on media bias and political correctness, reflecting broader cultural and political tensions.
