Rogan: Democrats Destroying Precedent to Target Trump

Joe Rogan slams Democrats for corrupt prosecution tactics against Trump, warning of dangerous precedent.

Podcast giant Joe Rogan expressed his alarm this week over the Democrats' willingness to destroy legal precedents to target former President Donald Trump. During an episode of “The Joe Rogan Experience” with comedian Tony Hinchcliffe, Rogan discussed the troubling state of American politics and the desperate measures being employed by Democrats.

“We’re being run by a dead man,” Rogan said, referring to President Joe Biden. “They’re trying to stop this other guy from even running, and they’re exposing how corrupt the democracy is.”

Rogan criticized the recent criminal charges against Trump, describing them as overblown and politically motivated. “They’re exposing how corrupt the system is just by charging this guy with 34 felonies for paying off a lady he had sex with. Like, what?”

- Rogan emphasized that such charges, under normal circumstances, would be misdemeanors. “They trumped it up — no pun intended,” he said, noting how the charges were inflated to felonies.

- He highlighted that the charges stemmed from Trump signing 34 different checks, thus leading to 34 counts. “The whole thing’s crazy,” Rogan remarked.

“What’s scary is how many Democrats are willing to allow this kind of stuff to happen,” Rogan continued, pointing out the hypocrisy within the party. He compared the Democrats’ behavior to individuals who criticize others without self-awareness.

Rogan warned that setting such a precedent could have dire consequences. “When this guy gets in office or another guy gets in office that’s a Republican, you’ve got real problems now, kids.”

He explained that the American political system traditionally oscillates between parties, citing historical examples like Clinton to Bush and Bush to Obama. “If you change the way people are allowed to go after political candidates, and you change the way you’re allowed to silence and imprison your candidates, then we’re like Mexico,” Rogan cautioned.

Rogan’s commentary underscores the danger of abandoning established legal norms for short-term political gains. By allowing power to corrupt the system, America risks devolving into a third-world country, driven by the whims of those in power rather than the will of the people.
