Republicans Attack Biden Following ISIS-Linked Smuggling of Illegals into America

Lawmakers demand action as ISIS-linked smugglers exploit Biden's border policies.

Republican lawmakers are expressing outrage after an explosive report revealed that an ISIS-affiliated human smuggling network has successfully brought over 400 illegal aliens into the United States. This alarming development underscores the severe flaws in President Joe Biden’s border policies.

  • Approximately 150 of these illegal aliens have been apprehended, but over 50 remain unaccounted for, posing a significant security threat.

  • The report highlights that these illegal aliens are now dispersed across 17 states, making the task of locating and arresting them even more challenging.

Officials, including FBI Director Christopher Wray, have warned that Biden’s lax border policies are being exploited by terrorists. The lack of infrastructure in countries where ISIS operates means these individuals rarely have identifiable links to terrorism in any databases.

Chief Deputy Whip Guy Reschenthaler (R-PA) contrasted Biden’s handling of the situation with former President Donald Trump's success against ISIS. “While President Trump destroyed ISIS and its leader, Joe Biden opened the door at the border and let hundreds of ISIS-connected illegal aliens into our nation,” he stated. Reschenthaler criticized the Biden administration as the most incompetent in history, endangering national security by allowing terrorists into American communities.

House Committee on Homeland Security Chairman Mark Green (R-TN) echoed these sentiments. “In President Biden and Secretary Mayorkas’ America, border security and immigration enforcement have become a punchline,” he said, highlighting the administration’s failure to prevent bad actors from entering the country.

House Foreign Affairs Committee Chairman Michael McCaul (R-TX) emphasized the gravity of the situation. “The Biden administration is so concerned with the optics of detaining individuals who willingly broke U.S. law that it has dismantled our vetting system, releasing violent criminals and terrorist suspects into our communities,” McCaul warned. He pointed out that 50 individuals with ties to ISIS are now roaming free in the U.S., turning the nation into a "ticking time bomb."

House Whip Tom Emmer (R-MN) declared Biden’s presidency as “our gravest national security threat,” reminding the public that it took only 19 terrorists to commit 9/11. The call for stronger leadership and immediate action is clear, as the country faces increasing risks under the current administration.
