FBI Lied About Providing All Epstein Files, Says Pam Bondi

Attorney General Slams Bureau for Withholding Key Documents.

Attorney General Pam Bondi dropped a bombshell on Thursday, accusing the FBI of lying about turning over all its files on notorious sex offender Jeffrey Epstein. In a scathing letter to FBI Director Kash Patel, Bondi alleged that the bureau withheld thousands of documents despite repeated assurances that all records had been provided.

Bondi’s letter, shared by Michael Shellenberger on X, painted a troubling picture of government obstruction. “Before you came into office, I requested the full and complete files related to Jeffrey Epstein,” Bondi wrote. “In response to this request, I received approximately 200 pages of documents, which consisted primarily of flight logs, Epstein’s list of contacts, and a list of victims’ names and phone numbers.”

However, a source informed Bondi on Wednesday night that the FBI’s New York Field Office was sitting on “thousands of pages of documents related to the investigation and indictment of Epstein.” This revelation calls into question the FBI’s transparency and raises concerns about what critical information may still be hidden from the public.

Key Points:

  • Misleading the Attorney General: Bondi said she had repeatedly asked if the documents she received were complete and was “repeatedly assured” by the FBI that they were. The discovery of additional files suggests otherwise.

  • Potential Document Release: Bondi told Fox News host Jesse Waters that she hoped to release Epstein-related files on Thursday. “What you’re going to see, hopefully tomorrow, is a lot of flight logs, a lot of names, a lot of information,” she said.

  • Public Disappointment Expected: A source told the New York Post that the upcoming document release might not meet public expectations. The documents are likely to include Epstein’s personal address book, but not the highly anticipated “client list.”

The scandal surrounding Epstein’s connections to high-profile individuals has fueled speculation for years. Names from Epstein’s private jet flight logs, previously revealed through lawsuits, included celebrities and political figures such as Prince Andrew, Bill Clinton, Cameron Diaz, Leonardo DiCaprio, Al Gore, Stephen Hawking, and even Donald Trump. While none of these individuals have been charged with wrongdoing, the public remains eager to learn more about Epstein’s network.

Bondi’s explosive claims add a new twist to the Epstein saga and bring the FBI’s handling of the case into sharp focus. The bureau has long faced criticism over its investigation into Epstein’s crimes and his highly suspicious death in federal custody in 2019.

If the FBI is found to have deliberately withheld evidence, it would not only erode trust in federal law enforcement but also raise serious questions about who or what they might be protecting. Bondi’s insistence on full transparency is a step toward accountability and potentially, justice for Epstein’s many victims.
