Missouri AG Questions Legality Of Biden Orders Amid Mental Decline Concerns

Andrew Bailey calls for DOJ investigation into whether unelected staff ruled in Biden’s name.

Missouri Attorney General Andrew Bailey is demanding answers about the legitimacy of President Joe Biden’s executive orders, citing the president’s well-documented cognitive decline. In a letter to the Department of Justice, Bailey raised concerns that unelected staffers, not Biden himself, have been making key policy decisions potentially rendering those actions unconstitutional.

Bailey argues that if Biden was not mentally competent when signing executive orders, they are “null and void.” Among the orders in question are sweeping mass pardons and commutations of convicted criminals, including individuals who committed violent offenses.

Bailey references House Speaker Mike Johnson’s firsthand account of Biden’s confusion during official proceedings. Johnson recalled asking Biden about a moratorium on energy exports to Europe, only for Biden to respond that he believed he had merely signed off on a study not an actual policy order.

Special Counsel Robert K. Hur’s February report further underscores these concerns. Hur described Biden as an “elderly man with a poor memory” who could not recall when he was vice president or even when his own son had passed away. Hur ultimately declined to charge Biden over classified document mishandling, not because he was innocent, but because his “poor memory” cast doubt on his ability to form criminal intent.

Bailey highlights a crucial point: If Biden wasn’t competent enough to face charges, how could he have been competent enough to execute the duties of the presidency?

According to high-profile Democratic fundraiser Lindy Li, the real decision-makers behind the Biden administration were not elected officials, but Biden’s staff, his wife, and his scandal-ridden son, Hunter Biden. Bailey contends that top Democrats including then-Vice President Kamala Harris deliberately shielded Biden from public scrutiny, allowing unelected operatives to dictate policy.

This raises serious constitutional questions. Bailey argues that executive orders signed without Biden’s full awareness may violate the balance of power between the executive branch, Congress, and the states. He points specifically to Biden’s decision to vacate death sentences for Missouri inmates, an action that could now face legal challenges.

Bailey warns that if Biden was merely a figurehead, states like Missouri may need to consider pursuing legal action. He cites a recent Supreme Court ruling affirming states’ rights to prosecute individuals even after federal cases have been resolved. If Biden’s executive actions were illegitimate, Missouri and other states could take steps to challenge those decisions in court.

One particularly disturbing case involves a mass clemency order that allegedly included a convicted killer responsible for the deaths of a mother and her 8-year-old child. If Biden was unaware of what he was signing, who truly authorized the release of these criminals?

Bailey’s letter concludes with a sobering statement: “I fear that Mr. Biden, while he held the office of President, did so in name only and was a mere puppet for far-left, unelected staffers. The people deserve to know the truth.”
