Maxine Waters Pushes Civil War Conspiracy Against Trump

Rep. Maxine Waters (D-CA) is once again resorting to baseless fear-mongering, this time accusing President Donald Trump of trying to start a civil war. Speaking at a Congressional Black Caucus press conference on Thursday, Waters delivered an unhinged rant, claiming that Trump is “on the edge of creating a civil war” and wants to incite violence across the country.

Waters provided no evidence for her incendiary claims but insisted that Trump has “alluded to it more than once”, referring to past warnings from conservatives about the dangers of a stolen election.

She then pivoted to lecturing Democrats on nonviolence, invoking Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. while conveniently ignoring the violent riots and destruction her own party has excused in recent years.

Waters also painted a doomsday scenario, claiming that Trump’s policies would lead to mass suffering:

• “Hungry people are going to be on the street.”

• “Nonprofits are not going to get their checks.”

• “Seniors waiting for Social Security checks will not get them.”

In reality, Social Security checks have never stopped during past government shutdowns, and Trump’s policies have consistently prioritized economic growth, job creation, and lower taxes for working Americans.

It’s ironic that Waters who has previously called for mob harassment of Trump officials is now warning about political unrest. It was her party’s rhetoric that fueled violent riots in 2020, causing billions in damage and devastating American cities.

If anyone has a history of encouraging confrontation, it’s Maxine Waters and the radical left not President Trump.

With Trump leading in the polls and Democrats in full panic mode, expect more desperate, baseless attacks like this. Waters’ comments are just another attempt to smear Trump and scare voters into supporting their failing party.
