LA News Anchor Denies Firefighters Are Out Of Water, Reporter Immediately Proves Him Wrong
Live coverage exposes another failure as hydrants run dry in fire-ravaged Los Angeles.
As Los Angeles battles multiple raging wildfires, a stunning moment of media contradiction played out live on FOX 11 Los Angeles. News anchor Melvin Robert confidently dismissed reports that firefighters were running out of water only for his own on-the-ground reporter to immediately contradict him.
Robert first dismissed the claims made by developer and former LA mayoral candidate Rick Caruso, who had warned that fire hydrants were running dry and that poor leadership was to blame.
“Despite what you have heard from Caruso, no firefighters have told us that they are running out of water,” Robert declared.
Seconds later, FOX 11’s own reporter, Gigi Graciette, proved him wrong in real-time.
“Firefighters have told me they have no water on this block,” she reported live from Pacific Palisades, one of the hardest-hit areas. As the camera showed a home engulfed in flames, Graciette added:
“They have no water to put on this fire. They are standing by because they’re trying to save the home that is next to it.”
Graciette further revealed that firefighters had resorted to using pool water because hydrants were dry.
The Eaton Fire and Palisades Fire continue to spread, with tens of thousands of residents evacuated and billions in damage already estimated. Yet, rather than addressing the critical failures of infrastructure, officials and media figures are downplaying the crisis until the truth inevitably comes out.
Why are fire hydrants failing in Los Angeles?
Why is leadership unprepared for predictable disasters?
Why is the media covering for them instead of holding them accountable?
California deserves real answers not media spin and government excuses.
