Jackson Urges Drug Testing for Biden Pre- and Post-CNN Debate

Former White House Physician Calls for Transparency Amid Concerns.

In a bold move, Rep. Ronny Jackson (R-TX) has called for President Joe Biden to take a drug test before and after his upcoming CNN debate with former President Donald Trump. Jackson, who previously served as a White House physician under both Trump and former President Barack Obama, announced his intentions during a Sunday interview on Fox News' "Sunday Morning Futures" with Maria Bartiromo.

Jackson expressed his concerns about Biden's cognitive health and performance, citing speculation among Republicans about the possibility of Biden using drugs to enhance his performance. He plans to formally request the tests in a letter to Biden’s physician, Dr. Kevin O’Connor, with copies sent to the entire Cabinet.

  • Formal Request: Jackson will send a letter demanding drug tests for Biden before and after the debate to ensure transparency about the president’s cognitive state.

  • Speculation on Drug Use: Jackson and other Republicans suspect that Biden might be using performance-enhancing drugs, pointing to his uncharacteristic sharpness during public addresses as evidence.

  • National Security Concerns: Jackson argues that Biden's potential cognitive issues and the use of drugs to manage them pose a national security threat, as they could affect his decision-making and overall fitness for office.

The White House has consistently denied these allegations, dismissing them as politically motivated attacks. After Biden's State of the Union address earlier this year, White House spokesman Andrew Bates criticized Republicans for what he described as their apparent intimidation by Biden's performance.

Trump has previously pushed for pre-debate drug tests, asserting that Biden might use stimulants to boost his debate performance. At a recent campaign stop in Philadelphia, Trump suggested that Biden would come to the debate "all jacked up."

Jackson, in his interview, emphasized the importance of ensuring Biden's cognitive health is not artificially enhanced for the debate. He mentioned several drugs, including Aricept, Adderall, and Provigil, which could be used to treat cognitive disorders or increase alertness.

As Biden prepares for the debate at Camp David, Jackson speculated that his aides might be experimenting with different medication dosages to optimize his performance. He expressed concerns about Biden's day-to-day behavior, describing him as often appearing sleepy, slurring his speech, and having difficulty walking.

The demand for drug testing highlights the ongoing concerns about Biden's cognitive health and its implications for national security. With the 2024 election approaching, transparency and accountability in the president's health remain critical issues for the American public.
