Israel May Have Killed Hamas Leader Mohammed Sinwar, Netanyahu Says
Netanyahu confirms sweeping success in Gaza as Israel moves closer to total control and Hamas collapse.

Israel may have just scored one of its most critical victories in its war against Hamas. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced this week that Mohammed Sinwar, a top Hamas commander and brother of slain terror chief Yahya Sinwar, has likely been eliminated in a decisive Israeli airstrike.
Sinwar’s reported death comes as part of Operation Gideon’s Chariots, Israel’s latest military offensive targeting the remaining leadership and strongholds of Hamas in the Gaza Strip. Netanyahu didn’t mince words at the press conference “We eliminated the leaders of the murderers… Yahya Sinwar and it appears we also eliminated Mohammed Sinwar.”
This isn’t a speculative claim. According to Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz, evidence indicates Mohammed Sinwar was killed alongside ten of his top aides and Mohammed Shabana, commander of the Rafah Brigade. These aren't foot soldiers they are the backbone of Hamas’s remaining military leadership.
Over 670 Hamas targets were hit in one weekend alone.
Israeli forces have reportedly killed tens of thousands of terrorists since the war reignited in October.
Ground operations continue to seize more territory in Gaza, with Netanyahu affirming: “All areas of the Strip will be under Israeli security control.”
That’s not just military rhetoric that’s strategy, executed.
The broader message was unmistakable: this war will not end until every hostage is returned, Hamas’s leadership is crushed, and Gaza is completely demilitarized. Netanyahu even laid out the endgame a return to security through the implementation of the Trump peace plan, a proposal that emphasizes regional stability through strength and negotiation not appeasement.
Incredibly, despite the clear progress, international voices and left-wing governments continue pressuring Israel to stand down. As Netanyahu put it: “Anyone who calls on us to stop the war before these goals are achieved is calling on us to leave Hamas in power.”
And he’s absolutely right. Calls for a premature ceasefire ignore a basic fact peace without victory is a fantasy. Just last year, Hamas launched a barbaric surprise attack on Israeli civilians. The world watched in horror, and then predictably the outrage faded. But Israel remembered.
Now, Israel’s campaign is bringing Hamas to the negotiation table once again. Talks are ongoing in Doha, with one Israeli official noting that while there’s “no breakthrough” yet, the mood is “much more optimistic” than in recent weeks.
Victory is in sight, and Israel is doing what every sovereign nation has the right and duty to do eliminate threats, restore order, and ensure the safety of its people.
