Kamala Harris Criticized by Assault Victim for Letting Illegal Immigrant Evade Prison

Victim speaks out against Harris’ controversial program and immigration policies.

A woman is speaking out against Vice President Kamala Harris after an illegal immigrant criminal, who evaded prison time due to Harris' controversial "jobs program," assaulted her. The immigrant, Alexander Izaguirre, ran the woman down in an SUV after stealing her purse.

In 2008, Amanda Kiefer, then 30, was attacked by Izaguirre, who was part of Harris’ “Back on Track” program when she served as the San Francisco District Attorney. This program aimed to keep criminals, including illegal immigrants, out of jail by training them for jobs they could not legally hold.

Kiefer has now spoken publicly about the attack, criticizing Harris. She told ABC News that it's “laughable” for Harris to portray herself as a “tough prosecutor” in the 2024 election, especially when comparing herself to former President Donald Trump.

Key Points:

  • Harris' "Back on Track" Program: This initiative allowed illegal immigrants like Izaguirre to avoid jail time and receive job training.

  • Violent Assault: Izaguirre, after evading prison, stole Kiefer’s purse and ran her down in an SUV, resulting in severe injuries.

  • Harris’ Immigration Stance: Harris has previously stated she does not support criminal charges for illegal immigrants entering the U.S. She was also appointed as the "border czar" by President Biden but has been criticized for her lack of engagement with border security officials.

Kiefer recounted the traumatic event, describing how Izaguirre snatched her purse, jumped into an SUV, and laughed as the driver ran her down. She suffered a fractured skull and other serious injuries. The incident underscores the dangers of allowing criminals to evade prison under the guise of rehabilitation programs.

“If people who committed crimes were allowed to stay out of prison to train for jobs they couldn’t legally hold, I think most Americans would disapprove of that,” Kiefer remarked, reflecting the sentiments of many who oppose such lenient policies.

Harris’ immigration policies and handling of border security have also come under fire. Since taking office, the Biden-Harris administration has seen record-high border crossings, averaging around two million per year, not including “gotaways” and parole migrants. Among these were 362 individuals on the terror watch list, with total encounters expected to reach 10 million by the end of the fiscal year.

Kiefer’s story is a stark reminder of the real-world consequences of lenient immigration policies and flawed criminal justice programs. As the 2024 election approaches, Harris' past decisions and their impacts on public safety are likely to be scrutinized further.
