IDF Confirms Terrorists Among Dead in Gaza Hospital Strike

Despite global outrage, Israeli forces reveal key Hamas operatives were using Nasser Hospital to wage war.

While the international media and political elites rush to condemn Israel, the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) have released an initial investigation into this week’s airstrike on Gaza’s Nasser Hospital and the truth looks very different from the narrative being spun across newsrooms and the United Nations.

According to the IDF, six known terrorists were confirmed killed in the operation, which targeted a Hamas surveillance camera being used to track Israeli troop movements. The strike, which also resulted in civilian casualties, has drawn sharp criticism from world leaders. But once again, the facts paint a far more complicated and telling picture.

The two-phase strike, which occurred Monday, was initially aimed at eliminating the threat posed by Hamas surveillance. A second strike was carried out shortly after, as rescue personnel arrived footage of which quickly went viral. But while the outrage flowed freely, few in the media bothered to mention who some of the actual victims were.

Among the six confirmed terrorists killed:

  • Jum’a Khaled Jum’a al-Najjar – A Hamas operative who participated in the horrific October 7, 2023 massacre inside Israel.

  • Muhammad Ahmad Salem Abu Hadaf – A member of Palestinian Islamic Jihad.

  • Salah Yusuf Muhsin Barbakh, Omar Kamal Shahada Abu Teim, Imad Abd al-Hakim Ali al-Shaer, and Hisham Tayseer Ibrahim Quweder – All identified as Hamas terrorists.

The Nasser Hospital, according to verified Israeli intelligence, has been used by Hamas as a military operations base since the start of the war. The IDF stated that troops from the elite Golani Brigade identified and destroyed a Hamas-operated camera near the facility that was being used to coordinate attacks against Israeli soldiers.

“In light of this, the troops operated to remove the threat,” the IDF’s statement said, describing the actions as necessary to dismantle enemy capabilities embedded within civilian infrastructure.

While Prime Minister Netanyahu expressed regret over civilian casualties, labeling it a “tragic mishap,” it is clear that Israel’s hands are being tied by a terrorist regime that continuously uses hospitals, schools, and media buildings as human shields.

The strike also claimed the lives of individuals associated with major media outlets such as Al Jazeera and Reuters. But new information is casting serious doubt on their "journalistic" credibility:

  • Mohammed Salama, affiliated with Al Jazeera, reportedly entered Israel on October 7 during Hamas’s barbaric attacks.

  • Mariam Abu Dagga helped run propaganda trainings for Hamas's information arm in 2019.

  • Ahmed Abu Aziz publicly called the October 7 massacre “the greatest day of our generation.”

  • Moaz Abu Taha glorified a terrorist who murdered an Israeli rabbi and father of six.

These aren’t neutral journalists they’re propagandists and enablers of terrorism, and the IDF has every right to defend its soldiers and citizens from such threats.

Meanwhile, the usual suspects at the United Nations jumped to Israel’s condemnation. Secretary-General António Guterres called for a “prompt, impartial investigation,” seemingly unmoved by the clear evidence that Hamas continues to use civilians and aid workers as pawns in its jihadist playbook.

The IDF is continuing its inquiry into the operation, specifically reviewing:

  • The authorization process before the strike

  • The type of ammunition used

  • The timing and coordination of the operation

But the broader mission remains unchanged: defeat Hamas and bring the hostages home. That mission is made infinitely harder by a global establishment that turns a blind eye to the horrors of October 7 while demanding impossible purity from a nation fighting for survival.
