IDF Publishes Footage Exposing Hezbollah’s Missile Launchers Hidden Inside Homes
Israeli forces reveal how Hezbollah hides weapons inside Lebanese homes, intensifying strikes in response.
The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) have revealed shocking evidence of how Iranian-backed Hezbollah terrorists are using civilian homes in southern Lebanon to store and launch missiles. In newly released photos and videos, the IDF showed how Hezbollah has turned homes into missile launch sites, placing Lebanese civilians in grave danger by using them as human shields.
IDF Spokesman Rear Adm. Daniel Hagari explained that for the past 20 years, Hezbollah has been loading homes and civilian infrastructure with weapons, making families unwitting shields for their terrorist activities. These homes, often in small villages, have been equipped with concealed openings in their outer walls, allowing missiles and rockets to be fired from within. One striking image released by the IDF shows a large missile stored in the attic of a house in Houmine al-Tahta, mounted on a hydraulic system ready to launch through an opening in the roof. Below, a Lebanese family lives on the first floor, directly in harm’s way.
Former Israeli Prime Minister Naftali Bennett described how many Shiite Muslim families in southern Lebanon have what is referred to as a “Rocket Launcher Room,” for which they are paid monthly rent by Hezbollah to host these deadly weapons. These launchers are kept ready to fire at Israeli communities on command.
The IDF responded to this threat with an escalation in airstrikes on Hezbollah positions. More than 1,300 targets were struck on Monday alone, resulting in the deaths of over 490 Hezbollah fighters, according to the Lebanese government. The airstrikes also destroyed thousands of rockets and missiles, as well as suicide drones, severely crippling Hezbollah’s military capabilities.
Defense Minister Yoav Gallant said that Israel’s latest operations have dealt a devastating blow to Hezbollah’s infrastructure. “What Hezbollah has built over twenty years, we are crushing in days,” Gallant stated, referring to the destruction of entire units within Hezbollah’s elite Radwan force. Tens of thousands of rockets have been destroyed, and Israel’s strikes have left Hezbollah’s leadership in disarray.
Key takeaways from the escalating conflict:
Hezbollah has hidden thousands of missiles inside Lebanese homes, placing civilian families in direct danger.
The IDF’s response has destroyed vast quantities of Hezbollah’s missile stockpiles and infrastructure, killing hundreds of fighters.
Hezbollah’s elite Radwan force has been decimated, with its senior command eliminated in targeted airstrikes.
In a recent strategic move, Israel also dealt a secret blow to Hezbollah by detonating pagers and walkie-talkies that were laced with explosives, killing hundreds of fighters and leaving many more in critical condition. This followed Friday’s successful elimination of Hezbollah’s senior Radwan command, including Ibrahim Aqil, the head of Hezbollah’s operations unit and leader of the “Conquer the Galilee” plan.
As the conflict intensifies, the IDF’s determination to neutralize the threat posed by Hezbollah’s dangerous tactics is clear. A senior Israeli official stated bluntly, “What Hezbollah hasn’t understood through force, it will understand through more force.”
