Hunter Biden’s Wife Delivers Fiery Rebuke to Trump Ally Outside Courtroom
Heated exchange highlights ongoing tensions between Trump and Biden camps
In a dramatic moment outside a courtroom, Hunter Biden’s wife, Melissa Cohen-Biden, confronted former Trump White House aide Garrett Ziegler with a tirade of insults. The altercation occurred during a break in proceedings related to charges against Hunter Biden stemming from a 2018 gun purchase.
“I witnessed a dramatic moment a few minutes ago in the hallway outside courtroom: Hunter Biden’s wife Melissa Cohen-Biden approached former Trump aide Garrett Ziegler and said ‘you have no right to be here you Nazi piece of s***!’” NBC’s Sarah Fitzpatrick reported on X.
Ziegler, who did not respond to Cohen-Biden's outburst, later stated, “For the record, I’m not a Nazi. I’m a believer in the US Constitution. I haven’t said one thing to them.” He further expressed his dismay, adding, “It’s sad. I’ve been sitting here the whole time and haven’t approached anyone.”
After the confrontation, Cohen-Biden returned to the courtroom, sitting alongside First Lady Jill Biden. She later claimed that Ziegler had called her “the most horrific Jewish slurs” and questioned why he had never used such slurs when referring to Trump’s Jewish son-in-law, Jared Kushner. Ziegler vehemently denied these allegations via text, stating, “Melissa’s statements to you are preposterous. I’ve never called her any slurs. It’s just made up.”
Garrett Ziegler, who served on trade policy in Trump’s White House, is the founder of Marco Polo, an organization that brought public attention to the contents of Hunter Biden’s laptop. In September 2023, Hunter Biden sued Ziegler and Marco Polo, claiming their creation of a searchable database of his emails violated federal law.
This courtroom confrontation is a stark reminder of the deep-seated animosity between the Biden and Trump camps, reflecting the ongoing tensions and personal conflicts that continue to influence the political landscape.
