Hunter Biden’s Art Sales Mysteriously Dry Up as Financial Troubles Mount
The president’s son is struggling to make money and quietly dropping lawsuits.

Hunter Biden’s days of raking in cash from anonymous art buyers appear to be over. The president’s son revealed in a court filing on Wednesday that his financial situation has taken a drastic turn for the worse forcing him to drop a lawsuit against a former Trump aide.
Biden, who previously made hundreds of thousands of dollars selling his paintings, now claims that his income has “decreased significantly” in the past few months. His primary sources of revenue art sales and book royalties have all but dried up.
The Collapse of Hunter’s Art Business
Between 2021 and late 2023, Hunter Biden sold 27 pieces of art at an average price of $54,481.48 per piece.
Since December 2023, he has managed to sell just one painting for $36,000.
His book sales have also tanked, from 3,161 copies in one six-month period to just 1,100 in the following six months.
Biden expected to supplement his income with paid speaking engagements, but unsurprisingly there has been little demand for his wisdom.
The financial strain has led Hunter to withdraw his lawsuit against Garrett Ziegler, a former Trump White House aide who helped expose the contents of Biden’s infamous abandoned laptop. The lawsuit accused Ziegler of illegally accessing and distributing Biden’s personal data, but now Biden claims he can’t afford to continue the case.
His explanation? He needs to focus on “relocation” after the Pacific Palisades fires and “paying for my family’s living expenses.”
For years, Hunter’s art career was widely seen as a thinly veiled influence-peddling operation, allowing wealthy donors many of them anonymous to funnel money to the Biden family. The White House refused to release the names of buyers, despite ethics concerns about foreign influence and pay-to-play schemes.
Even liberal outlets like The Wall Street Journal questioned the legitimacy of Hunter’s art business, urging Joe Biden to provide transparency. Now, with the Biden presidency facing increasing scrutiny, the sudden collapse of Hunter’s art sales raises a simple but important question:
Did the buyers ever care about the art?
It appears Hunter Biden’s financial fortunes are directly tied to his father’s power. And with Joe Biden’s political future looking increasingly shaky, the money has stopped flowing.
