House Republicans to Investigate Biden FBI for Partisan Abuse

Lawmakers say the Bureau has strayed from its constitutional mission and targeted Americans for political reasons.

The FBI is finally facing the accountability it has long evaded under President Joe Biden. On April 2, House Republicans will hold a hearing to expose what they say is the agency’s blatant politicization, weaponization, and abandonment of its core mission all carried out on the American taxpayer’s dime.

The House Judiciary Subcommittee on Oversight, chaired by Rep. Jeff Van Drew (R-NJ), will hear testimony from multiple former FBI agents who have firsthand experience with what’s being called a sharp decline in integrity and constitutional adherence under Biden’s watch.

The hearing pointedly titled “Inside the Biden FBI Waste, Fraud, Abuse, and a Bureau Leadership in Decline” will dig into how the once-trusted federal law enforcement agency became a partisan instrument, targeting political opponents, religious Americans, and peaceful pro-life advocates.

Key concerns include:

  • The armed FBI raid on President Trump’s home in Mar-a-Lago, widely criticized as political theater and unprecedented in its treatment of a former president.

  • The brutal arrest of pro-life father of eleven, Paul Vaughn, at gunpoint in front of his children for his involvement in a peaceful protest a scene described as terrifying and abusive.

  • Increased FBI scrutiny of Christian organizations, while radical groups like Antifa and pro-abortion extremists have largely avoided similar enforcement actions.

“My house was assaulted, my wife and children were terrorized, and I was kidnapped at gunpoint by four armed men,” Vaughn previously told Congress. Trump later pardoned Vaughn, along with nearly two dozen other pro-life activists targeted by Biden’s DOJ.

Among the witnesses are Stewart Whitson of the Foundation for Government Accountability, Richard Stout of Reform the Bureau, and former FBI agent Nicole Parker each offering a unique look inside what many conservatives now view as a broken and biased institution.

Under current FBI Director Christopher Wray, the Bureau has taken blow after blow to its credibility. But change is coming. The subcommittee will also highlight how the FBI is being reoriented under the Trump administration’s new direction, led by Director Kash Patel, who has vowed to end political prosecutions and return the FBI to its true purpose: fighting violent crime and protecting the American people.

According to Van Drew, the hearing is about more than just exposing rot it’s about restoring public trust and ensuring the FBI is never again used to advance one party’s political agenda.

For years, the FBI’s actions have reeked of partisanship, targeting conservatives while turning a blind eye to left-wing lawlessness. This hearing is a critical step in holding the Biden administration accountable for its corruption and restoring justice in federal law enforcement.
