Hezbollah Launches Drone Attack Targeting Netanyahu’s Home

In a bold and dangerous escalation, Iranian-backed Hezbollah terrorists launched a suicide drone attack on Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s private home in Caesarea early Saturday. While Netanyahu and his wife were not present at the time, the attack underscores the growing threat Israel faces from Iran's proxies in the region.

The Israeli military intercepted two of the three drones, but one managed to avoid destruction. Some reports suggest that the third drone hit a building near Netanyahu’s residence, with images posted online appearing to show damage matching the home’s location. Thankfully, there were no casualties.

Netanyahu addressed the nation in a rare statement released on Shabbat, Israel's day of rest, following the assassination attempt. “We’re continuing our battle with Iran’s other terrorist proxies,” Netanyahu said, making it clear that Israel would not be deterred. “We’re going to win this war,” he added with unwavering resolve.

This marks the first direct targeting of Netanyahu since the war with Hamas and Hezbollah began over a year ago. The escalation follows Israel’s successful operation to eliminate Yahya Sinwar, the leader of the Hamas terror group who orchestrated the deadly October 7 attacks that claimed 1,200 lives in Israel. Hezbollah, which had vowed to intensify its efforts against Israel, responded by launching dozens of rockets into northern Israel, injuring at least nine civilians.
