Ford Slashes Prices As Trump’s Tariffs Reclaim America’s Industrial Power

With new ‘From America, For America’ campaign, Ford rewards U.S. buyers while global competitors face rising costs.

Ford Motor Company is embracing President Trump’s “Liberation Day” tariffs with a bold, America-first strategy offering steep discounts across its vehicle lineup in a patriotic campaign titled “From America, For America.”

As Trump’s sweeping tariffs take effect to correct decades of trade abuse by foreign nations, Ford is standing out from the pack by rewarding American consumers and reinforcing its commitment to U.S. manufacturing. From now until June 2, Ford customers can take advantage of employee pricing, a deal that usually saves thousands of dollars per vehicle.

“We’re gonna offer our customers the same deal our employees get,” Ford Chief Policy Officer Steve Croley told Fox News. “That’s worth thousands of dollars.”

The timing is no coincidence. Trump’s new tariff regime, unveiled on April 2 declared “Liberation Day” includes a 10% baseline tariff on all imports, with steeper penalties for nations like China (34%), Japan (24%), and the EU (20%). These tariffs are designed to level the playing field for American manufacturers and bring jobs and industries back home.

Ford, with 80% of its U.S.-sold vehicles built in America, is uniquely positioned to benefit and to pass those savings directly to customers.

  • The “From America, For America” campaign highlights Ford’s massive U.S. manufacturing footprint, its dominance in exports, and its role as the nation’s most American auto company.

  • Reuters reports the discounts apply to most models, including popular vehicles like the Mustang Mach-E and Maverick.

  • Only a few models, such as the Super Duty trucks, are exempt.

Croley described the promotion as a “time-out” for uncertain buyers, acknowledging that some customers are concerned about what tariffs might mean for vehicle prices. But instead of backing down, Ford is stepping up with confidence.

“We make the most cars here, we employ the most, we export the most,” he said. “We’re in a good position to address customers’ concerns and give them a really great deal.”

And this move couldn’t come at a better time. After years of foreign automakers exploiting low U.S. tariffs while keeping American cars out of their markets, Trump is finally holding them accountable. His executive order will impose reciprocal tariffs, charging foreign nations what they charge us a long-overdue reset that has rattled global elites and delighted American workers.

“April 2, 2025 will forever be remembered as the day American industry was reborn,” Trump declared in the Rose Garden.

Ford’s response proves what “America First” economics can achieve when companies align with patriotic principles instead of globalist appeasement. While overseas competitors scramble to adjust, Ford is giving American families a reason to buy U.S.-built vehicles with pride and at a steep discount.

If you're looking to support American industry, now is the time to act and drive American.
