FDA Study Confirms Elevated Post-Vaccination Seizure Risk in Toddlers

A new FDA-backed study reveals troubling data about seizure risks in young children post-COVID vaccination, raising serious questions about the agency’s safety assurances.

On April 24th, a team of FDA-supported scientists published a new study in JAMA Pediatrics investigating serious adverse events associated with mRNA vaccines in children. This comprehensive cohort study focused on over 4 million children, confirming the well-documented risk of myocarditis in adolescents aged 12-17 who received mRNA COVID vaccines. However, the most shocking finding was the discovery of a new safety signal: seizures in toddlers.

The study found a statistically significant signal of seizures in children aged 2 to 4 years after the Pfizer vaccine and in children aged 2 to 5 years after the Moderna vaccine. Specifically, the study noted that the risk of seizures was significantly elevated after doses one and two of the Pfizer vaccine for kids aged 2 to 4 and after dose two of the Moderna vaccine for kids aged 2 to 5.

  • The absolute risk of vaccine-related seizures in young children is approximately 1 in 5,000.

  • 72 seizures were identified in kids following vaccination.

  • Children had a survival rate of more than 99.9997% from COVID-19.

Critics argue that these risks, although statistically small, are unacceptable given the minimal benefit of the vaccine in young children. Nearly 100% of children in these age groups have already had COVID-19 and recovered, providing stronger immunity than the vaccine.

Despite these findings, the FDA maintains that the benefits of COVID-19 vaccination outweigh the risks, a stance that many find bewildering given the lack of a clear benefit-risk analysis for young children in the study. My attempts to seek clarification from the FDA resulted in a generic response, reaffirming their confidence in the vaccine's safety and effectiveness without addressing the specific concerns raised by the study.

This situation is a stark example of how the narrative of vaccine safety can overshadow emerging data. The FDA and CDC's aggressive push for mass vaccination in children, despite the known and potential risks, appears driven more by political and financial interests than by genuine public health concerns.

The full extent of harm from vaccine-induced seizures and other serious adverse events remains unclear. The FDA and CDC should have been more cautious in recommending these vaccines for children, who are at minimal risk from COVID-19 but face significant risks from the vaccines themselves.

As more data emerges, the concerns voiced by so-called conspiracy theorists are proving to be justified. The push for mass vaccination in children was a grave error, sacrificing the health of young children in the name of protecting adults and achieving herd immunity.

Encouragingly, some public figures are beginning to recognize this issue. Joe Rogan recently referred to the mass vaccination of children as a "child sacrifice," a provocative but apt description of the public health strategy that has prioritized experimental vaccine rollout over the well-being of our youngest citizens.

We need to hold public health authorities accountable for their decisions and ensure that future health policies are based on solid, transparent risk-benefit analyses, especially when it comes to our children.
