Estonia Backs Trump, Rejects Palestinian State Recognition
As global elites push to reward Hamas, Estonia stands firm with Trump and Israel against dangerous U.N. plans.

While Western powers cave to pressure from pro-Hamas activists and globalist institutions, one European nation is standing strong Estonia has officially rejected the push to recognize a Palestinian state and in doing so, is siding with President Donald Trump and Israel at a pivotal moment.
Estonian Prime Minister Kristen Michal made the announcement during his government’s weekly press conference, making it clear that his nation will not support the Palestinian recognition effort when the United Nations General Assembly meets in September.
“Today there is no state to recognize,” Michal declared. “We are doing everything we can within the European Union to resolve the humanitarian situation. But from our point of view, there is currently no state to additionally recognize.”
This stance puts Estonia in direct opposition to a coalition of 15 countries that just signed a declaration calling for recognition of a Palestinian state a move Trump has forcefully denounced as nothing more than a “reward for Hamas.”
Estonia’s loyalty to Israel is well-documented:
Israel was one of the first nations to recognize Estonian independence in 1991.
Estonia boycotted the anti-Semitic 2021 Durban conference, which the U.N. continues to use as a platform to demonize Israel.
Estonian leaders have pushed back against left-wing radicals who tried to sever ties with Israeli academics, calling such boycotts misguided and dangerous.
When the Estonian Academy of Arts canceled a workshop with an Israeli professor last year, the backlash from government officials was swift and unapologetic.
“I believe the academy should reconsider this decision,” Michal said at the time.
Estonia’s Foreign Minister called it “a step in the wrong direction,” and former Education Minister Jaak Aaviksoo warned against “giving in to very radical left-wing activists.”
These statements echo the same principled clarity that President Trump continues to bring to the global stage. Unlike Biden-era diplomats and European appeasers, Trump and his allies refuse to let terrorists dictate international policy. They understand that recognizing a so-called Palestinian state while Hamas still holds hostages and wages war is a grotesque betrayal of both logic and morality.
The facts are clear:
Hamas killed over 1,200 Israelis and kidnapped 251 civilians in the October 7 terror massacre.
The group remains in power, refuses disarmament, and openly calls for the destruction of Israel.
Yet countries like France, Britain, and now Canada are pushing ahead with plans to legitimize a Hamas-dominated entity as a “state.”
Estonia is proving that small nations can lead with courage. While much larger governments bend the knee to international pressure, Estonia has drawn a red line: no statehood for terrorists.
In a world where truth is constantly distorted, Estonia’s decision is refreshingly honest and a powerful reminder that siding with Trump means standing with reason, sovereignty, and peace through strength.
