Eric Trump Calls President Trump Live on Stage at Turning Point USA Event

Crowd erupts as Trump joins Auburn University students to honor Charlie Kirk and fire up Gen Z.

It was a moment no one at Auburn University will forget.

On Wednesday night, during a Turning Point USA event packed with thousands of students, Eric Trump called his father live on stage and President Donald Trump didn’t disappoint.

The crowd at Neville Arena exploded when Eric’s wife, Lara, told the audience:

“It says ‘Dad POTUS’ on his phone, just so you know.”

Eric hit dial, and after just one word “Hello” the arena was electric. Phones flew into the air as the crowd of Gen Z conservatives captured the unforgettable moment.

“I just want to say hi to everybody. I hope Eric is doing a good job,” the president said. “I love you all, the country is doing great.”

Trump praised Auburn University and Alabama’s role in the 2024 election:

  • He mentioned his strong performance in Alabama last November

  • Praised student turnout in the 2024 election

  • Celebrated Auburn’s spirit and local values

And in a heartfelt moment, the president honored the late Charlie Kirk, whose legacy continues to inspire young conservatives across the country.

“I just want to pay my respects to Charlie and Erika,” Trump said. “We know Charlie is looking down on us.”

President Trump reminded everyone exactly who was in charge classic dad move.

“You better do a good job, these are smart people. They know if you’re not doing a good job and they will report back to me.”

The call ended with the crowd erupting into chants of “USA! USA!”, echoing the same energy that’s been driving young conservatives to get engaged and speak out.

The event is part of “This is The Turning Point Tour,” a multi-campus tour that is carrying forward the bold mission of Charlie Kirk and Turning Point USA. Eric and Lara were joined on stage by Senator Tommy Tuberville, former Auburn football coach and Alabama conservative icon.

“Politicians aren’t going to help you,” Tuberville told the students. “It’s going to be your generation that gets this mess straightened out.”

Trump’s phone appearance at Auburn marked the first time he’s participated in a TPUSA campus event since Charlie Kirk’s tragic assassination. Erika Kirk, who has been joining the tour at campuses across the South, told Fox News she can feel her husband’s presence in every student-filled auditorium.

“He’s looking down on us right now, all of us,” Trump said, his voice full of emotion.

The evening was about more than politics. It was about legacy. Family. Faith. Country. It was about the next generation rising to reclaim the culture and refusing to surrender their future to the radical left.

Trump ended the call exactly how you'd expect a commander-in-chief who’s also a father to end it:

“I love you all as President of the United States, I love you all.”
