Dave McCormick Delivers Final Appeal to Pennsylvania Voters
GOP Senate hopeful promises to bring real change to Washington.
In the closing hours before Election Day, Pennsylvania Republican Senate candidate Dave McCormick made a passionate final appeal to undecided voters. Speaking from the gymnasium of his old high school, McCormick positioned himself as the agent of change in his race against long-serving Democratic Senator Bob Casey.
“This is a race between change and the status quo. I represent change,” McCormick declared. He emphasized his roots as a seventh-generation Pennsylvanian, a West Point graduate, a combat veteran, and a successful businessman, promising to "shake things up" in Washington and "get America back on track."
McCormick also took aim at Casey’s record, labeling him as a rubber stamp for the Democratic Party’s agenda. “If you look at his voting record, he’s voted 99 percent of the time with this extreme liberal agenda, including voting for males being able to compete in women’s sports,” McCormick said. “These positions may be in line with San Francisco liberal extremism, but they’re not in line with Pennsylvania.”
In a bold commitment to voters, McCormick pledged to serve no more than two terms, contrasting himself with Casey, whom he described as a “30-year career politician” reliant on his family’s political legacy.
McCormick also addressed recent remarks by entrepreneur Mark Cuban, who claimed that Donald Trump did not surround himself with intelligent, strong women. McCormick defended Trump, pointing to his own wife, Dina Powell, a former deputy national security advisor under Trump. "For him to say that is factually not true," McCormick countered. "It’s also just an insult to every woman in America."
McCormick, who narrowly lost the GOP Senate primary to Mehmet Oz in the last election cycle, is determined to turn the tide this time around. His focus on change, accountability, and conservative values aims to resonate with Pennsylvanians seeking a fresh voice in the Senate.
