Las Vegas Police Reveal Explosive Cargo Inside Cybertruck That Detonated Near Trump Hotel

Authorities investigating whether explosion was an act of terrorism.

Las Vegas authorities have revealed that the Tesla Cybertruck that exploded outside Trump International Hotel on Wednesday was carrying gasoline tanks, camping fuel, and large firework mortars a lethal combination that turned the vehicle into a deadly fireball.

The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department (LVMPD) confirmed during a press conference that the vehicle pulled up to the hotel moments before it detonated, killing the driver. Officials have not yet released the suspect’s identity, stating they will wait until they are 100% certain.

The truck was reportedly rented in Colorado through Turo, a car-sharing platform, and Tesla was able to track the vehicle’s route using data from its charging stations. This technological footprint is expected to aid in understanding the driver’s movements leading up to the explosion.

LVMPD emphasized that no further suspect information would be released until confirmed, and that this remains a joint investigation with federal, state, and local authorities.

Authorities are currently working to determine whether this was an act of terrorism or a lone incident. While officials believe it was not part of a larger coordinated attack, the motive remains unclear.

The explosion in front of Trump International Hotel, combined with the deliberate nature of the detonation, has raised concerns about potential political or ideological motives.

The FBI and Department of Homeland Security are assisting in the probe, and more details are expected in the coming days as investigators piece together the driver’s background and intentions.

As security concerns rise nationwide, this incident underscores the need for vigilance against potential threats.
