Trump’s Big Win Sparks Meltdown Among Hollywood Celebrities

Leftist stars rage as Americans reject their vision for the country.

Hollywood’s elite are in full meltdown mode after Kamala Harris failed to defeat Donald Trump in the 2024 presidential election, with several leftist stars voicing their outrage online as the dust settles on Trump’s landslide win. While some celebrities have gone silent following the election night defeat, others wasted no time in expressing their anger, painting a dramatic picture of a nation supposedly on the brink of disaster.

From wild rants on Instagram to bizarre comments on Twitter, here’s a look at some of the most unhinged reactions from Hollywood’s most vocal leftists:

Cardi B, who spoke at a Harris rally just before Election Day, shared a now-deleted video with a vague but pointed jab at red states. “This is why some of y’all states be getting hurricanes,” she said, before quickly removing the video. She later lashed out in a fiery Instagram live, saying, “Burn your f***ing hats, motherf***er,” and lamented her deep disappointment over the results.

Jamie Lee Curtis expressed fears of a return to a “draconian” era, claiming Trump’s victory would be a threat to minority and LGBTQ+ rights. “Gay and trans people will be more afraid,” she warned her followers on Instagram, while also rallying others to “fight for women and our children and their futures.” Curtis seemed to suggest a call-to-arms mentality, encouraging protests as a way forward.

John Cusack took a dark turn in his commentary, accusing the American people of “deep nihilism” for re-electing Trump, whom he smeared with a string of incendiary labels. “To put it mildly,” he wrote on X (formerly Twitter), bemoaning the country’s supposed self-destruction.

Other celebrities continued the melodrama, including Christina Applegate, who claimed her child was “sobbing” over the election results and went as far as telling followers who disagreed to “unfollow” her. She later announced she’d be shutting down a long-standing fan account, calling the outcome “sick.” In a similar vein, horror novelist Stephen King referenced a metaphor about broken items, casting America’s choice in a grim light by comparing democracy to a fragile item now beyond repair.

As for singer Billie Eilish, she shared an Instagram post lamenting what she called a “war on women,” while Ariana Grande extended her condolences to those “feeling the immeasurable heaviness of this outcome.” On late-night television, Jon Stewart could only muster a profanity-laced rant, promising viewers that “this is not the end” and calling for continued activism to achieve the “better society” that Hollywood’s elite have been advocating for.

While Hollywood remains stunned, everyday Americans have clearly spoken, choosing law and order, economic stability, and a rejection of the far-left agenda that has gripped the entertainment industry. Trump’s win signals that many Americans are tired of lectures from celebrity figures whose politics often seem more out-of-touch than reflective of the challenges real people face daily.

As Hollywood doubles down on its rage and doom-laden narratives, this election proves once again that fame doesn’t translate to influence at the ballot box. Americans continue to reject the preachy, disconnected vision pushed by the entertainment industry in favor of a leader who speaks to their concerns about jobs, national security, and American values.
