Brooke Hogan Says She Asked To Be Left Out Of Hulk Hogan’s Will
The WWE legend’s daughter says she chose independence from her father’s $5 million fortune.

After Hulk Hogan’s death, many were shocked to learn that his $5 million fortune went entirely to his son, Nick Hogan leaving his daughter Brooke with nothing. But according to Brooke, this outcome was exactly what she wanted.
Speaking to TMZ, Brooke Hogan said she wasn’t blindsided by her father’s decision. “His decision is no surprise to me. It’s what I asked for, I stand by it with no regrets. My dad knows I’m a hard worker, and I have been surviving without his money for a long, long time,” she explained.
The 36-year-old has long been estranged from her father and mother, Linda Hogan. After Hulk’s death in July, Brooke shared a heartfelt Instagram post reflecting on their complicated relationship. She revealed that while there were no explosive fights, there were private conversations that led to respectful but painful disagreements.
“I know in my heart I did everything I could,” she wrote. “He knew I would run through a burning building for him. And in many ways, along the path of life, I did. He knows how deeply, how hard and how purely I loved him. I am at peace knowing this.”
Brooke also shared that she and her husband, former hockey player Steven Oleksy, relocated to Florida with their twins in hopes of being closer to her father as he aged. However, she described a shift in their dynamic, noting that she was suddenly excluded from medical situations and family matters after years of being deeply involved.
Hulk Hogan, the wrestling legend who became a global pop culture icon in the 1980s and 1990s, died on July 24 at age 71 following a heart attack at his Clearwater, Florida home. He had long battled atrial fibrillation, a heart condition known to cause irregular and rapid heartbeat.
Brooke has made it clear that while she was not financially included in her father’s will, she carries no bitterness about it. For her, independence and peace matter more than inheritance.
