Bill Clinton Says Trump Never Linked Himself To Epstein Crimes
During a lengthy House Oversight deposition, the former president said Trump “never said anything” suggesting involvement in wrongdoing.

In a striking moment during his closed-door testimony, former President told lawmakers that “never said anything” that would have linked himself to the crimes of convicted sex offender.
The comment came during Clinton’s lengthy deposition before the House Oversight Committee, which is investigating Epstein’s network of high-profile associates and whether those relationships facilitated criminal activity.
“I hate this because I don’t think I should inject anything,” Clinton told investigators. “But I do not want to leave the impression… He, the president, never this is 20-something years ago never said anything to me to make me think he was involved with anything improper with regard to Epstein.”
Clinton reiterated the point later in the deposition.
“As I said earlier, the only conversation I had with President Trump about this was in the early 2000s and I have no information that he did anything wrong,” he stated.
Democratic lawmakers reportedly pressed Clinton multiple times about Trump’s past association with Epstein, particularly as both men’s names have appeared in materials released by the Department of Justice.
Epstein, who died in federal custody in 2019 while awaiting trial on sex trafficking charges, maintained a wide-ranging social circle that included politicians, business leaders, and celebrities. His longtime associate was later convicted on federal sex trafficking-related charges.
The Oversight Committee is examining whether Epstein leveraged his connections to facilitate illegal conduct for himself or others.
Clinton told investigators that his priority was full public transparency.
“I just want it all out there,” he said. “I want everybody to get it all out there and let everybody see where we are.”
The former president acknowledged that he has not discussed Epstein with Trump since the early 2000s and emphasized that he had no knowledge of wrongdoing by the current president.
“It’s the truth,” Clinton added.
Justice Department releases have included photographs of Clinton in social settings with Epstein and Maxwell, including an image placing him in a pool alongside Maxwell and another unidentified individual whose identity was redacted.
Like Trump, Clinton has not been accused of participating in Epstein’s criminal acts. However, both have faced scrutiny due to their past social interactions with the financier.
The Epstein case has spanned years and administrations, fueling bipartisan demands for transparency. According to federal filings, Epstein’s network involved travel on private aircraft, high-profile social gatherings, and access to powerful circles in finance and politics.
Democrats have publicly scrutinized Trump’s past ties to Epstein, while Republicans have pressed questions about Clinton’s travel history and relationship with the disgraced financier.
For now, Clinton’s sworn statement places a clear marker: based on his conversations decades ago, he says Trump never suggested involvement in wrongdoing.
As transcripts and video from the depositions continue to circulate, lawmakers on both sides appear intent on ensuring that every detail of Epstein’s connections regardless of party is examined in full public view.
