New Book Details Biden’s Rage at Netanyahu for Eliminating Top Hezbollah Terrorist

Tensions rise as Biden reportedly slams Israel for targeting top terrorist leader.

A new book by journalist Bob Woodward reveals explosive details about President Joe Biden’s reaction to Israel’s killing of a top Hezbollah leader. In War, Woodward describes how Biden furiously lashed out at Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu after Israeli forces killed Fuad Shukr, Hezbollah’s top military commander, in a late July airstrike. Shukr was a key figure in Hezbollah, serving as the right-hand man to the group’s Secretary-General, Hassan Nasrallah.

“What the f***, Bibi?” Biden reportedly yelled at Netanyahu during a tense conversation. “The perception of Israel around the world increasingly is that you’re a rogue state, a rogue actor.”

Netanyahu defended the strike, explaining that Shukr was one of the world’s most dangerous terrorists and that Israel had seized a rare opportunity to eliminate him. “We saw an opportunity and took it,” Netanyahu reportedly told Biden, adding, “The harder you hit, the more successful you’re going to be in the negotiation.”

The book also claims that Biden has made disparaging remarks about Netanyahu behind closed doors. In one instance, Biden allegedly called Netanyahu “a bad f***ing guy” and referred to him as a “f***ing liar.” These quotes highlight the deepening tensions between the Biden administration and Israel, especially as Israeli forces have continued operations in regions like Gaza and Rafah.

Hezbollah, an Iranian-backed terrorist organization based in Lebanon, has long been a thorn in the side of Israeli security. Shukr’s death marks a significant blow to the group, but it has also intensified diplomatic strains between Washington and Jerusalem.

Biden’s concerns seem to center on the global perception of Israel’s actions, with the president reportedly criticizing Netanyahu’s aggressive military strategies. He expressed skepticism about Israel’s incursions into areas like Rafah, calling them “no strategy,” despite the isolation of Hamas forces in those regions.

As this story develops, it sheds light on the complicated dynamics between the Biden administration and one of America’s closest allies in the Middle East. Israel’s actions against Hezbollah and Hamas, while seen as necessary by many, continue to spark international controversy, with Biden’s heated reactions suggesting further complications in U.S.-Israel relations.
