Biden's Aid to Gaza Stolen, Fails to Reach Palestinians

U.S. Military Efforts Undermined by Theft and Mismanagement

In a troubling development, none of the aid sent by President Joe Biden to Gaza via a U.S.-constructed floating pier has reached its intended Palestinian recipients. Pentagon spokesperson Maj. Gen. Pat Ryder revealed that all 569 tons of aid delivered to Gaza have been intercepted and stolen.

  • Aid Mismanagement
The aid is delivered to the causeway by the U.S. military and handed over to non-U.S. contractors for distribution. However, logistical failures and theft have plagued the process.

  • Theft and Interception
On Saturday, 16 trucks en route to distribution warehouses were overrun, with 11 being completely looted by Palestinians during transit through hard-to-access areas.

  • No Aid Reaching Civilians
Despite efforts to establish alternative routes and secure warehouses, none of the aid from the pier has reached Gaza's civilian population.

Maj. Gen. Ryder acknowledged these issues, noting that while some aid is entering Gaza, the majority is being intercepted before it can be distributed. This situation highlights significant challenges and security failures in Biden’s $320 million aid initiative, risking its collapse as the U.N. World Food Program warns of ongoing theft and distribution issues.
