Ex-Democrat Megadonor Praises Barron Trump as ‘Smarter Than’ Kamala’s Campaign

John Morgan slams Harris’ failed presidential bid and praises Barron Trump’s strategic advice.

Former Democrat megadonor John Morgan, now an independent, had harsh words for Vice President Kamala Harris’ failed presidential campaign. In a fiery interview with Fox News this week, Morgan criticized Harris’ poor performance and highlighted the surprising political instincts of President-elect Donald Trump’s youngest son, Barron Trump.

Morgan revealed that Barron Trump played a behind-the-scenes role in his father’s campaign strategy, urging him to embrace unconventional media platforms like podcasts to connect with voters. “What the Harris campaign should have done, instead of avoiding Joe Rogan and podcasts, was take a page out of Barron Trump’s playbook,” Morgan said.

He pointed to a pivotal moment during the 2024 campaign when Donald Trump delayed a rally by three hours to appear on Joe Rogan’s podcast. “Barron told his father, ‘You need to go on Joe Rogan,’ and it paid off,” Morgan noted, adding that the decision showcased a sharp understanding of how to reach voters outside traditional media channels.

Morgan contrasted the success of Trump’s campaign with Harris’ disastrous run. “The progressives around her played hide-the-ball and avoided connecting with mainstream audiences,” he said. “They didn’t want to go on Joe Rogan. They lost badly.”

Harris’ campaign, which reportedly burned through nearly $2 billion, has been scrambling to raise money to pay off its debts. Morgan didn’t hold back in his critique: “If you can’t run your campaign, you damn sure can’t run the country.”

Morgan believes Harris’ political future is over. “She can never run for president again,” he declared. “She should go away and never, ever come back.” The former donor’s remarks echo widespread criticism of Harris, whose campaign struggled with messaging, voter engagement, and internal disarray.

Morgan’s comparison between Harris and Barron Trump underscores a broader lesson in political strategy: connecting with voters where they are. Barron’s push for his father to engage with alternative media demonstrated a clear understanding of the evolving political landscape, one that Harris’ team failed to grasp.

As the dust settles on the 2024 election, it’s clear that strategy and adaptability not just money are critical for success.
