Al Qaeda Praises Left-Wing College Protests

Terrorist organizations support campus chaos and anti-Israel rhetoric.

The notorious terrorist group Al Qaeda, responsible for the September 11, 2001 attacks, has voiced its support for the left-wing pro-Hamas protests that have disrupted U.S. college campuses in recent months. These protests have seen violent encampments at top universities, resulting in attacks on Jewish students and law enforcement, and calls for the destruction of Israel.

  • Escalating Campus Violence
Since April, professional agitators have fueled chaos at various universities, with protesters calling for an “Intifada,” a term referring to terrorist attacks against Jews or the state of Israel.

  • Terrorist Endorsements
Al Qaeda praised the campus protesters, declaring support for their actions against Israel and aligning with their anti-Zionist sentiments. Hezbollah, Hamas, and the Houthis have similarly lauded the protests.

  • Iranian Influence
Ayatollah Ali Khamenei of Iran also backed the student protesters, declaring them on "the right side of history."

Al Qaeda's statement celebrated the Hamas attacks on Israel and praised Western demonstrators for their protests against what they termed genocide in Gaza. They appreciated the solidarity shown by these left-wing activists in the West.

Hezbollah’s Deputy Secretary-General Sheikh Naim Qassem acknowledged the protests' potential impact on U.S. elections and policy, suggesting that President Biden would inevitably be influenced by this growing movement.

The Islamic Republic of Iran's Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, further endorsed the protests via a social media post, urging American university students to recognize their supposed place on the correct side of history.

This alignment of left-wing campus protesters with known terrorist organizations raises significant concerns about the influence and implications of such demonstrations within the United States.
