The Hidden Risks of a Biden Presidency

Published:

As Americans, we like to think that our political system is the envy of the world. We have free and fair elections, a peaceful transfer of power, and a robust system of checks and balances. But what happens when one of our major political parties becomes so corrupted that it threatens the very foundations of our democracy?

Sadly, that’s the situation we find ourselves in today with the Democratic Party. From their willingness to ignore voter fraud to their embrace of socialism, the Democrats have shown that they are more interested in power than in principle. And now, with their nomination of Joe Biden for president, they are risking our country’s future on a man who is clearly in mental decline.

It’s no secret that Biden is an old man. At 80 years old, he is the oldest person ever to be nominated for president by a major party. And while age itself is not a disqualifier for office, it’s important to remember that life expectancy for white Americans is just 76.4 years. That means that Biden is already well beyond the average life expectancy and his cognitive abilities are likely to decline in the coming years.

Unfortunately, there are already signs that this is happening. Biden frequently forgets people’s names, including those of his own family members. He has trouble following conversations and often seems confused about where he is or what he’s doing. This is not normal aging; it’s clear that Biden is suffering from some form of dementia.

And yet, despite all of this, the Democrats are urging Americans to entrust him with the presidency. They are asking us to believe that a man who can barely string together a coherent sentence will be able to lead our country through challenging times. It’s an absurd and dangerous gamble, one that could have devastating consequences for our nation.

Consider what would happen if Joe Biden became president and his mental condition continued to deteriorate. He would be responsible for making life-and-death decisions about national security and international relations. He would be in charge of our nuclear codes and our military forces. The consequences of allowing someone in such a fragile state to hold these kinds of responsibilities are too horrifying to even contemplate.

Thankfully, there are some Democrats who are beginning to see the risks inherent in a Biden presidency. Rep. Dean Phillips of Minnesota recently broke from party lines and said publicly that he does not believe Biden should be re-elected. It’s an encouraging sign that some members of the Democratic Party are willing to put country over party, but it remains to be seen whether they will have the courage to do what’s necessary to stop Joe Biden from becoming president.

The time has come for Americans to wake up and see Joe Biden for what he is: A dangerous liability who must not be allowed anywhere near the Oval Office.
